Color Process - double poster for "Les Soeurs Grémillet" (Patreon)

Hello back! Here goes the coloring.

As you can see, I played it safe and picked the color palette from my book pages :)

My anthem is "80% confort zone, 20% challenge"

I start putting down the global feeling with a bigh brush, not worrying abour precision. Here I wanted to play between warm bright sunlight and cool dark blue-green shadows.

Once I feel I have it, I start the characters, then I go back on the background on and on. Only at the end I clean up all the mess and sometimes put a very light "color" layer on everything, so all the colors goes better together. It's an effective technique for sooftening the color contrasts.
