Preview: Ekhö vol10 new cover (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Yes my work on Ekhö volume 10 is not over yet! A special, deluxe edition is going to be printed soon (Graff éditions) and it needs a cover image.
Here is the full process from the first idea to the final image in BW.

The theme is China. The story is about shaolin monks and chinese circus. I used the firts one for the official cover (that you can find here in my Patreon) so this time I use the second: it’s Circus Time!

I inspired by Cirque du Soleil for the costumes.

As you can see, I note the first ideas on a notebook. Then I modify it digitally. Then I do a first rough on A4 paper. I scan it, then print it on A3 size and rework it.

Then it’s inking time.
