Cover Art: Les Soeurs Grémillet for Spirou Magazine (Patreon)

Hello again my wonderful Patrons.

I want to show you something I did right yesterday: it's a cover illustration for "Le Journal de Spirou" (Spirou Magazine, published by Dupuis in France and Belgium).

I chose to represent the three Grémillet Sisters in a dramatic situation. The inspiration is a scene from the climax of the book (you can see in image 6 the pages that I used as a reference).

As usual for this book, I did the drawing on watercolor paper, with grey watercolors values. then I colored it with Photoshop. The style and technique are very simple and direct (after 70 colored pages, I learned some tricks :D)

I hope you like it and it may maybe inspire your own artwork.
