PROCESS // Cover Art for EKHÖ vol. 1 (Patreon)

Hello, here I am. So, I want to show you the process for creating the cover image for the first volume of my comic series EKHÖ Mirror World (written by Christophe Arleston and colored by Nolwenn Lebreton).

Sorry , for some images I only have some low-def files.

It's a very early cover project, I didn't know well the universe and the characters at that point. I wanted to show the main characters AND the universe: a middle-age fastasy-like New York. Maybe I wanted to show too much XD the image is super-crowded! As you can see, for a complexe image like that I study the details of the different elements separetely. At the end, I put everything together in the clean-up. Nolwenn did a fantastic work with colors!

As the image is too complicated, we decided to use another one at the end. But I still like this one a lot :)
