Video Game - Slay the Spire

For me, this is one of those games I really love to just zone out to into the late evenings. Put on some music, pop open an ice cold Arizona, and just dive in. It's a turn-based, card-based combat system, where all of your potential moves are determined what what cards you pull from your deck. Each card has a certain number of energy points required to use, and each turn has a limit of how many energy points you have at your disposal. Along your journey, you'll obtain new cards, upgrade existing ones, as well as obtain relics that will change the way you play. It is a challenging game, and I haven't been able to make it past the 2nd boss, but it is still a really enjoyable game as long as you're okay with it's rogue-like elements and starting over a lot.

Youtube Channel - Defunctland

I've been obsessed with this channel for the last couple weeks. He does very in-depth analysis essays on various forms of media, but primarily Theme Parks. There is so much fascinating aspects of parks that I had never known about before, or had previously given much thought about. Things like the failed experiments in Disney parks, parks that closed and never reopened for various reasons, or even entire business ventures such as "Mousercise" which was Disney's go at the televised home workout craze of the 80's. It is seriously some good stuff. He's also done a recent episode on the show "Bear And The Big Blue House" which was really endearing to watch.  I couldn't recommend this channel enough.
