First off I want to offer an explanation and apology for my absence.

Riding on the tail of the anniversary of a major loss in the family last year, I was welcomed into  this new year with 2 more losses of close family members within weeks of each other.

In the process of trying to deal with the emotions and making arrangements, I was also informed my last remaining parent was diagnosed with cancer.

While I'm not 100%, I feel like I have started to heal enough to try to get back to some kind of normalcy.
