Podcast Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I know the recent consistency of the podcast has been completely out of fucking whack. There have been a handful of contributors to this and we apologize for that. As soon as the clash is over we will back to our regular schedule, with the main episode uploading on Friday, and the Extra Ammos on Mondays.


Now to the Extra ammo increase. First off I want to apologize for this coming out of  the blue to many of you. The main intention was to have the Extra Ammo were always supposed to always be for the  $5 tier. It was infant fact the only reason for that tier on the here, but due to confusion on Sween's part the first 12 were uploaded for everyone. The first 12 will stay available to everyone on the patreon but 13 and on will be for the $5 tier and up. We know this will upset a lot of you, but we hope that you can understand that it's being an extra episode is why it is for the higher tier.


Inclosing thank you all for the love and support this year and we can't wait to tell you guys all about the clash and all the other BS that we bring up in this dumpster fire of a podcast

I fuck with the podcast, but I simply don't see the value in the patreon given this change and their recent track record. If you don't approve of these changes, the best you could do is talk with your dollars.

Definitely bad timing. I wish I kept count of how many times you guys were late or missed an episode all together. The show is entertaining, but not really worth it, in my opinion. At least Colin at LSM will continue getting my money, but not this show.

I’m sorry, but I don’t really understand the extra ammo mistake. Charging more for the episodes makes perfect sense, but I gotta ask: if the price hike was intentional from the beginning, how did you guys post 12 episodes (approximately 3 months of time) without correcting it or even addressing the fact it will eventually cost more? I really like the podcast and don’t want to stop paying but c’mon you gotta do better than this.

Nearly 3 weeks with no normal podcast. Really justifying that price increase. Glad Sween is able to go to Coachella with his patreon money though.

Hey fuck faces, you could at least give us updates that your most recent update won't be fulfilled completely, I like you guys and I like your stuff but we know for a fact if any content creators y'all follow pulled the shit y'all are currently pulling you'd call them out for it. We're paying because we want what you give us, not because we like giving away money for nothing. At least acknowledge this before you start hemorrhaging patrons and fall out of favor with the people that support you.

"The one dollar tier gets you early access" does it? I'd nearly forgotten since the 2 episodes (over the course of a month) were uploaded to patreon AFTER youtube and spotify. //edit, the last episode to uploaded on the right day (friday) on patreon was on March 4th. What the actual fuck. this is really getting kinda ridiculous. I really don't believe that the extra ammo going to the $1 tier was a mistake. It's not like the $5 tier "isn't robust", it's the tier where you can ask questions on the show, thats pretty substantial (more substantial than early episodes if you guys feel like it), and I really feel like i remember you guy's saying you were gonna throw the extra episodes up for anyone on the patreon, but until i go back through those episodes and check it's just my (often faulty) memory. It's uncharacteristic of you guys to lie about something like this so I'll go with it this time, but low effort has been a constant issue with the show since I started listening at episode 20. and it's only gotten worse. I mostly subscribed to support you guys with the early episodes as just a bonus, but if you're not putting the effort in and I'm not even getting early episodes, I really have no reason to stick around subbing

2 "weekly" episodes in the span of 4 weeks nonetheless. Also amazing to just use the Sweeney scapegoat for why it happened in the episode while the problem isn't even fixed. Basically said "hey this is the reason we fucked up, but we're not gonna do anything to fix it or get rid of the problem."

just some quick statistics: In the past 52 weeks there have been 41 episodes. 11 Episodes were missed entirely. Of the 41 episodes released in the past year, 13 have been released on time. 28 Episodes were released late. Over the past year, approximately 20% of episodes have been missed, of the episodes that actually released, approximately 70% were released late.

I’d be fine with paying 5 a month for extra, but we don’t even get normal episodes alot of the time, and even when we do they hit Youtube before they get uploaded here. It doesn’t seem there is any reason for the 1 dollar tier to even exist now

It’s times like this when you truly appreciate the way Colin set up his whole operation, where I get more content for $5 than I physically have the time to listen to. Its a monthly subscription which means you pay at the beginning of the month for the benefits of the rest of the month. This shouldnt be a gamble where you may or may not get a prize you paid for. If they dont follow through in giving you what you want, then you got ripped off. They arent gonna refund you. How do you not understand the anger from people paying 5 or 25 bucks to get a bonus episode, ask a question for them to answer, or read their name and then it just doesnt happen ??
