To answer someblackblack's question sweeny's right. Using AI as an antagonist makes for a better story. Same with aliens. AI will most likely only attack humans that attack them first. And sweeny's referring to Aasimov's Three Laws of Robotics, which could work. And as for nukes, we're not dead yet and nukes are much more destructive than any AI could be, so I wouldn't worry.

I find it funny how y’all give Sweeney shit for being kill them immediately with aliens, when they might very well be here to harvest us and take our planet, but y’all are kill it immediately with AI when there is a chance it could be neutral toward us. Immediately trying to kill a sentient AI would insure it hated us and wanted to kill us. Derrick and Chris and there ilk will insure AI tries to kill us while Sweeney and his ilk will insure aliens will try and kill us
