I am starting to get annoyed with the series, but I'm entertained enough and curious about if they're gonna....do better. You're definitely right about that scene with King and Gun. It should've been Jade he confided in. Apparently, Jade and King are childhood friends and Jade and Uea are college friends. I like Gun's character okay, but he really serves no purpose outside of just being around. I think Uea's tendency to attract the men he does is because, King aside, he pulls in predator types that seem to look at him like prey. That's the best way I can think to describe it. King pushes boundaries all the time, but he never does it to the extreme like Krit, Pock, and the stepfather. King's issue is that he has feelings and no idea the extent of Uea's trauma. The preview for the next episode... I'm not sure how to feel. I mean...if we get some good Jade time next episode, that'll help. Plot progression would be better. I am reading the novel and that helps, but the show could have been done so much better. I'm on the fence. I like it and I don't. I'm definitely more excited now for Jade's show to happen.
