#SundayRundown - Your confusion about why Orihime isn't already healing Ichigo is, as others have said, your old enemy anime padding however it goes deeper than that. From the beginning of the anime up until the start of the Arrancar Saga (Episode 110 for yall anime watchers) Studio Pierrot have changed, shortened and completely cut Orihime's scenes from the first 2 arcs (Substitute Shinigami arc and Soul Society arc). Her first scene with Ichigo? Changed. That scene when she meets Rukia for the first time in the park; the dialogue between her and Ichigo also changed. Some of her backstory got cut though you could chalk that up to censorship but still. One of my favorite scenes in early Bleach is Orihime coming to talk to Ichigo who is contemplating just leaving Rukia be in the Soul Society, but its Orihime showing a real deep understanding of Ichigo as a person by imitating him and saying the things he would say and convinces him to go when he himself wasn't sure; that scene is still in the anime but the dialogue is all watered down and changed. There's a scene between them in the beginning portion of the SS arc that's completely cut for literally no reason at all. Well I KNOW why, but I can't go into it more than this I'm only making it known now because watching yall be confused about Orihime reminded me how much i despise how dirty the anime did her
