Hello All -

Navi here. You guys suggested that we react to cult movies. So, here we are!

We want to watch one cult movie per month. Since there are abundance of options, we want your help to prioritize this list.

- Poll 1-A: This is a public poll that includes 25 choices.  Multiple choice is allowed.

- Poll 1-B: After a week, top 12 picks will be re-posted in a new and final poll only on Patreon to decide which six movies we watch first

- We would re-post this poll every 6-months to keep it fresh.

P.S. There is no set standards or definition on what is considered cult movie. Google definition: “Something, typically a movie or book, that is popular or fashionable among a particular group or section of society.” There will be a different cult classic for different people. So if your choice is not listed, add it to the comments and I will make sure to get these included to the next poll.

P.S.S. We are doing Tarantino movies. Top 5 were selected from the poll posted last year (here) and we will be starting those in next couple weeks.

P.S.S.S. We love you all!

P.S.S.S.S. Happy Voting!

Seeing BATTLE ROYALE listed: ❤️❤️❤️ Seeing how few votes it has and probably won’t win: 💔💔💔

i think it's hard to define "cult classic"/"cult film" because so many different movies fall under this concept. like, initially it was for transgressive underground films not liked by the mainstream and/or critics, but that later amassed a large/loyal cult following. but there are also movies that did really well at the box office and film festivals that also have a cult following, like Back to the Future or Battle Royale. so which are the parameters? so imho this list is fine (like, you don't have to put only obscure films that only hardcore cinephiles have watched), because "cult classic" it's such a "debated" term... tho personally i would've chosen other titles, so here are my suggestions in no particular order: - Withnail & I (1987) - The Crow (1994) - The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - Harold and Maude (1971) - Oldboy (2003) - Enter the Dragon (1973) - Snatch (2000) - Airplane! (1980) and Top Secret! (1984) - Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015, "typical" teenager cancer story, but with a twist and with a protagonist that's a cinephile and love cult classics, so it's apt here) - any of the Night, Dawn, Day trilogy by George A. Romero - anything by Kubrick - Swiss Army Man (2016, you've already watched Everything Everywhere All At Once, this is the Daniels first movie and would be cool if you watch it) - The Silence of the Lambs and Se7en are also good picks, but i have no idea if they're considered "cult classics" (they sure have a cult following tho and are referenced everywhere) there's much more, but that for now i think

Besides Back to the Future and Silence of the Lambs, everything else looks to be what is considered a Cult Classic.
