Rana, don’t feel bad for believing that Buffy was actually dead at the end of season 5. The episode was written originally to be a series final (The WB actually cancelled the show after season 5 and it moved to a different network for seasons 6 and 7). And even though Buffy does get resurrected, she did actually die and was buried for months.

Sometimes people forget details so rewatching let's them enjoy the show all over again. Doesn't mean she can't react to it, what rule is that even. Suraj rewatched the entire AoT series with the dub crew even tho he watched most of the show already when they started.

In terms of pure romantic potential, Tenten would be the only one in the "Have My Kids" section for me. Everyone else I would hate, be bored by, think of as matronly, or be constantly worried they would kill me. 😆

Rana, loved your reaction to the Season 5 finale. I was very young when it aired and I remember I thought she was really dead. Then the show somehow got renewed, and I was like WTF? Then in the first ep of S6 I thought for a minute...aha they are going to have Buffybot instead...but no, they really brought her back.

no idea what that person is referring to. season 4 of harley isnt starting soon, its OVER with. it came out in july of 2023 and there is no release date as of yet for season 5.

well xmen went from xmen to uncanny xmen and new mutants changed to xforce and justice league became justice league unlimited. so yeah, they could have just changed the show into "the slayer" like they did with the comic if they wanted it to focus on a slayer not named buffy....but yeah, the brand is buffy the vampire slayer. the networks paid for THAT fanbase.

that was cassandra's perspective on why vandal killed olympia. he stayed silent when she said that........but before he killed olympia he said "no one should know my secrets. no one should know my story. i've come too far for my plans to get out. i've told you before to not write down my history" and then he killed her. smallville definitely needs to go on the dc poll after harley and young justice. 10 seasons though! its LONG but its so good. seasons 3-5 are TOP tier. and so much dc lore and characters are in the show, not just superman characters. great supporting cast! its my second favorite iteration of superman after "lois and clark: the new adventures of superman"

yeah, this ep of sunny was "meh" for a sunny episode. it was still funny but in general for the series, its not on the level of the majority of the series.

2024-01-23 05:45:28 Why does everyone always forget Buffy was briefly cancelled, and season 5 was meant to be the show finale. 😂 Buffy literally changed networks from the WB to UPN. Anyone who watched the season 5 finale when it aired, very much believed it would be the show finale.

As someone who did watch the Buffy season 5 finale as aired, I can tell you that you're absolutely wrong. I'm sure there were some people who were unaware that the show was changing networks, but I think the majority of its fans were well aware of the network situation. It had been all over the news.

Original viewer here. I was 12 at the time and under impression it was the series finale and the finale made me cry hard. S5 Finale still takes me back to that feeling though so I think emotional impact is there regardless of finale, for me anyways!

Funny that Navi says it should have been called The Vampire Slayer instead of Buffy tVS... Joss Whedon said around the time that he created Firefly that he had learnt his lesson about naming shows after main characters. (Making cast members indispensable and characters "safe" in the eyes of the audience.) Then came Firefly, Dollhouse, Agents of SHIELD and The Nevers. ;)
