There are 3 things that Anakin and Vader share and that is unmatched lightsaber skills, working on their starship as a hobby, and a massive flair for the dramatic. This man climbed on top of his Tie fighter and then piloted it down with the force all for a dramatic entrance. Another example is in Rouge One, he turned off his life support so the lights wouldn't be seen in the hallway scene before he revealed himself.

Something to think about is the line "Then you will die" is a threat from Vader, but a lot of people also see it as a warning from Anakin.
