I’m surprised they didn’t compare the granny’s seance technique to Orochimaru’s reanimation jutsu, they’re essentially the same thing except the vessel doesn’t have to die.

I feel bad for Ino, but at the same time I'm glad they chose a way to make him lose that doesn't make him look totally weak. Anyone who fights Gojo or Toji is basically expected to lose. Also I had the same thought as Suraj, that Itadori on his own probably would have done this more by accident. Probably a feint/probing attack that ends up desroying him while he meant to follow up with something big.
