Ranking of Kings won't win in this group but it's one of the best new animes in years, in my opinion; it seems so light and whimsical at first but has a hard edge along with a lot of heart, and is also just very unique among the list. But I get why it won't win, a lot of really top tier options competing! I just hope eventually more reactors try it one day. Maybe better to wait until more seasons to binge, anyway! I suspect Champloo will win, and that's a worthy choice, though I admit I never finished it. Maybe this will be my excuse to rectify that!

Considering how we got "The Chooms" in the first place, and Considering most of their appreciation for older animation, I think they should watch the major Trigger anime ASAP. My vote was for Kill la Kill, but only because I think it's the lesser between it and Gurren Lagan.

"its old" that didnt stop them with neon genesis or bleach. there is also the updated version (sailor moon crystal) that came out in 2014 and is still ongoing (sailor stars is coming!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!). plus its shorter than most shonen anime at 200 eps not counting the movies which i think are only 3 (R, S, Super S). a true classic that the shonen bros need to learn to RESPEK!

I rarely comment and usually just vote but I would love if "Monster" by Naoki Urasawa could be added to the list. It's a murder mystery with more adult themes. One of his other stories, "Pluto" is being adapted by Netflix and will be coming out later in the year. All of Monster is currently on Netflix. The animation quality isn't the greatest but the story is top notch.

It's pretty crazy how there were so many channels reacting to Cowboy Bebop, but didn't go into Champloo afterwards. Kinda the same for HXH and not going into Yu Yu Hakusho. Feels like if you enjoyed that person's story you'd want to see their other stuff.

If you guys get to watch Kill la Kill you wont be disappointed. It’s clever in a way you never expect. The twist were insane and the animation is awesome too. Every frame looks like a manga panel. In my opinion it’s a straight up masterpiece.

There's hardly any "Samurai Champloo" reactions in the reactionverse. It's weird because the anime is by the same creator who created "Cowboy Beebop" which has a lot of reactions. Everything about "Samurai Champloo" is great including one of the best anime dubs.

Fans will probably take it like they always do when Samurai Champloo loses polls; be disappointed for a minute and then go on with our day. The days of being salty over Samurai Champloo losing yet another poll are long past over for the Samurai Champloo community. On a side note, I've hated the wheel concept since day one of becoming a fan of The Normies and wish they would ditch it all together. Winners of polls should be what the couch reacts to.

I only made that comparison to put into perspective how small the margin of votes was and 9 isn't a "sizeable amount". Even in polling that would be considered margin of error. Statistically nine vote difference in a poll of 4k votes is an extremely small margin as was the margin when Samurai Champloo was leading earlier in the week.
