I think if it's at a level that it can be referred to as "love bombing" then it's inherently a bad thing. There's nothing wrong with buying gifts and all of that especially if in the relationship all parties share gift giving/receiving as a love language, but the difference lies in the person's intent. Love bombing is a manipulative act usually rooted in insecurity and abandonment issues. I can see there being more of a blurred line when dealing with someone as rich as Jack who probably just doesn't think all that much of what something costs, but she clearly goes over the top here. I guess if you're Keely, you should ask yourself, is there enough of an emotional connection and relationship equity to warrant such extravagance, or is there an attempt being made to force a connection/ relationship equity/ trust or dependence? Also, Suraj's memory, especially relating to GOT, is ridiculous lol

ABOUT ISAAC'S WORLDVIEW: So Isaac's worldview was shown back in a previous chapter, when he flashbacked to his childhood and it didn't originate from Dracula. When Isaac was a slave in the desert, his forgemaster teacher was a crusader that punished his 'slave' even when he did good things. The Straw that broke the camels back was when a young Isaac, was learning using the Forgemaster's Tools, and his master discovered him, beat him into submission, Isaac told his master that he loved him, and in response, the master said he loved him too, but instead of showing compassion, he used that spiked 'matt-belt' and started to beat him. Isaac realized he was naive and his master didn't want a helper he wanted an obedient mindless slave. He then turned on and killed his master, and took over his craft. He met Dracula later when he reached young adulthood.

To be fair it seems to me that only Sypha is really excited for all of this. Trevor is just along for the ride.

maybe that is from anne rice the whole judas is the first vampire or a vampire? definitely not the first in her lore as that was an egyptian king and queen. but in dc comics, judas becomes the phantom stranger, cursed to walk the earth for all eternity (immortal) until he makes up for his sins. his silver necklace is made up of the 40 pieces of silver he sold jesus out for. every time he does a good deed that god deems WORTHY ENOUGH, he loses a piece of silver and once all 40 are gone his punishment will end. so not every good deed gets rewarded, that way we will know that his rehabilitation is sincere. but that is just the new 52 origin. the others are "we dont know who or what he is but he is good and powerful". you will see him in justice league animated series and in the background of young justice. but to focus on the character you have to watch his dc showcase short, now streaming on MAX.

great comparison. this is hector's "reek" arc

I agree with you guys that I don't care about Nate, not until he apologizes to Ted. The back-and-forth Sam had with the politician reminded me when, then president, Trump was going back-and-forth with Megan Rapinoe.

Smearing weapons in feces and other dirty materials wasn't that uncommon. Arrows were an early form of biological warfare because a lot of archers liked to stick their arrows in the ground for various reasons and as a result the arrow tips would become covered in bacteria from the muck of battlefields; which often was feces ridden. In the Vietnam conflict, the Viet Cong would cover punji sticks in feces; which were spiked traps. If the person falling into the punji stick trap survived, their wounds would get infected.
