Remember that Rebels takes place 15 years after Episode III, they said how it was the 15th anniversary of the Empire of the Empire Day episode. Obi-Wan Kenobi happens only a few years after Episode III, when Leia is still a small child.

Season one of Rebels is my second favorite season behind season four so I'm happy y'all seemed to enjoy it! One thing I want to focus on is how this two parter reinforces that Hera is the real leader of the group not Kanan. The Ghost and Chopper are Hera's and Hera was the one that "recruited" Kanan (The book, A New Dawn, is about how they met). A line that is overlooked is when Fulcrum/Ahsoka stresses that if Hera (and Ezra) is caught then the hope they were able to spark will die. The mission to rescue Kanan more than just dangerous as it could have jeopardise other cells. Hera did know Bail Organa and his involvement in the growing Rebellion at a time where Bail was seen as just a senator from Alderaan. Kanan didn't know any of this which is hit home by Hera's line in episode 14, "He doesn't know anything." Kanan being "Spectre One" and Hera being "Spectre Two" is to throw the attention off of her and onto Kanan. This seems to work as all the Imperials wrongly identify him as the leader. I know this already long but one last thing - y'all missed my favourite moment from episode 14 which Ezra and Hera little moment at the end. Hera tells Ezra that "Kanan has taught you well" and Ezra responds with "so have you". The mother/son dynamic between these two is probably my favorite in the show and only continues to grow throughout the season. We see their relationship build during the first season as Hera is shown to be a person of comfort for Ezra and she was the one that was constantly advocating for his Jedi training.

Luke/Leia are kids in Obi-Wan, Ezra is a teen here. Ezra was born on empire day according to previous episodes, Luke and Leia were born roughly the same day for obvious reasons. 1 + 1 = Obi-Wan takes place years before rebels

When people say "oh you just have to get through the first season of Rebels...", it leaves me scratching my head. The first season is great and does an amazing job in world building for the main characters.
