Gonna disagree heavily with Michael being more of a device than a real person. Obviously his flaws are played up over the top but he’s actually the most textured and explored character on the show by a decent margin (dwight is second). There’s just more of his personality, interests, values, quirks that fleshed out compared to the other characters. This even shows in his talking heads where there’s actually texture to the scenes and not just short expositions like most talking heads from the supporting casts. Also there’s less michael cosplay because he isn’t a cosplayable character like Mikey said. It’s literally just a suit and a comb over.

I was more thinking about the actual episode dubbed (not their reaction of it) which as far as I’m aware hasn’t been released and there is no word on when it will be. I’ll be crossing my fingers that it’s out by the time this reaction reaches the yt masses.

Yep. Michael is plenty real. He's a deeply flawed person that really wants the best for the people he cares about but lacks self awareness alongside a healthy dose of general ignorance. He grew up strange without any friends and got his influences from movies and anyone that would actually hang out with him like Todd Packer. He desperately wants to be liked to the point he does too much and in general has a hard time managing his emotions as many people with a background like his often do. I know tons of real people that would fit this description pretty well.

I'll never understand the hype for Ragnarök honestly lol, it's just fights for the sake of fights which i guess is cool but like....the characters and plot are pretty bland. And honestly even the fights are kinda repetitive after a while (up till where i read anyway, which was part way through Tesla vs Beelzebub)

RoR’s manga is overrated for all the talk it gets. People unsurprisingly obsess over a cool concept and interesting designs on fairly recognizable and familiar characters (from myth, fiction, and history). That plus some cool paneling, fun fights and… yeah. That’s… well, that is literally the only thing the manga has going for it - the rule of cool. The anime doesn’t even have that going for it, unfortunately, with how poorly it was adapted/animated. I’m not trying to knock those who enjoy it for what it is, as I’m glad it satisfies someone out there, but it’s wild to even compare that series to something as well researched, nuanced, thematically textured and ambitious as Vinland Saga. I think Marketa, Chris, and Suraj would be the best trio to watch VS.

They didn't find a lot of the added scenes very funny so they switched back. Suraj still watches them on his own time though.

They laughed the most at some of the added scenes lol. The real reason is because a lot of people on pateron couldn't access them because it's on peacock. If you read the comments around the time they were switching many people were complaining that they had no access to it.

yeah many people miss perspective. each of those ribs are pure bone of width of a colossal almost. Who is gonna lift the giant axe? Who is gonna build it? and hardening, regeneration, many people also don't realize, Attack Titan's future visibility power hasn't stopped, now he is in constant contact with royal blood, so he knows how he should die not any other way around.
