Now that we're here, I'll let you all know that the next opening (starting on episode 52) spoils someone's bankai, along with a few other powers that get dramatically revealed later. Since that's the kind of thing you guys like to react to in the show itself, rather than the opening, I suggested not watching the opening from episode 52-61. Again, it's fine if you choose to disregard this. I'm just putting it out there 'cause I think it'll make the reactions better for everyone. Also, once again, episode 54 is when you MUST start watching the after-credits scenes! Well..."must" is a strong word. I'm just saying you'll enjoy them, and we'll enjoy you watching them. 😉 What I suggest doing is letting the credits roll, then looking away from the screen while the preview plays (the characters just have fun banter with each other and no one spoils what will happen in the next episode), then turning back as Kon introduces the 30-second shorts at the end of each episode. 👍🏼

When you finally get to the Neon Genesis Evangelion finale, you need to have someone there with you who knows why it is what it is so they can explain it. It's a whole thing that has to do with stuff that happened during production.

@Suraj - Uryu is Shino's voice actor btw if you haven't realized yet. Derek Stephen Prince does a great job voicing Uryu. Also glad you're loving the soundtracks so far. Bleach has one of the greatest ost's in anime history, they're so unique. But y'all haven't heard anything yet, just wait in the future as you keep watching. Can't wait till you hear more fire ost's. @Rana - Naruto came out before Bleach. Naruto (2002) Bleach (2004)

On another note, In case no one has mentioned these before, Nana and Skip Beat are amazing Shojo manga (and anime) that have a focus on the entertainment industry and how rough it can be. Shojo almost always has a romance focus, so don't be surprised lol. Another classic Shojo anime that is just more pure anime chaos than anything is Peach Girl. The evangelion crew might even get a kick out of Revolutionary Girl Utena, as it carries a lot the same eerie vibes and wierd production cuts and other asthetic things that make it oddly reminiscent (of NGE). Just wanted to throw out some ways to enjoy some more shojo in your spare time lol
