What about RWBY? 🤔🤔🤔

Smiling viper

Could we get double drops for the finals of the other seasons. The last two episodes of the other seasons go so well together

Nate did try to say wunderkind but messed it up.

Blake

Sypha EASILY the GOAT of this series!

RE RWBY: Patreon has all episodes we watched so far! We stopped watching at episode 4. Next time Mikey is in town, we will watch 5-7 and then 8-10. We're sorry the release is weird, but rest assured Patreon is getting reactions out as soon as they are done.

Monday drops are the damn best, Castlevania and Red Lasso

Is castlevania worth getting into? Been a while since I watched a new anime, whats is it most similar to genre/story wise in other entertainment mediums?

Blake

I love it. It has zero shitty anime tropes and beautiful animation and amazing fight scenes and a great story as well. I've heard the show is similar to Berserk.

I'm so excited for Castlevania episode 4. The opening scene in the church is just *chef kiss*

Zana

Honestly I ended up dropping it cuz I thought it was kinda boring but it seems like I'm in the minority. It definitely has nice animation

Not that it makes a huge difference, but Castlevania is Western animation, not Japanese animation (anime). Granted, both outsource to countries like China and South Korea, and the definition of "anime" varies from person to person, so perhaps there isn't much of a distinction anymore. To answer your question, I would highly recommend Castlevania. It's based on a video game franchise, but you don't need to be familiar with it to enjoy. As for similar shows, that's hard to say. Castlevania takes place in the late 1400's and features vampires, monsters, and those who fight against the supernatural. If you've seen Chainsaw-Man, both have a lot of blood, gore, and carefully orchestrated fight scenes. If you've seen Avatar: The Last Airbender, both have themes like fighting your destiny, dealing with family strife, and finding oneself in a cruel world that waits for no one. Unfortunately, I don't consume many live action shows, so I can't think of comparisons right now. The one downside is that Season 1, while short (4 episodes), can be a slow burn for some people. I enjoyed the first season, but it wasn't until Season 2 that I was fully hooked.

Succession final season premiere was so good I caught myself picturing the Normies reacting to it, mid episode. I'm going outside now.
