With the free kick that Jamie scores on from like 40 yards out, Phil Dunster actually made that shot and I believe it was on his first try, so the reactions from him and the other players was genuine because they were all like, "Holy shit how the hell did he just do that?"

The Rebecca and Sam seems troublesome. With some issues that happened in the NWSL with coach and player relationships, it all just seems messy.

Yeah, there's a clear issue with the power dynamics there. I'm not as familiar with the NWSL thing, and don't like to do the "imagine if the genders were flipped" thing but, in this case just to illustrate it, flip it to a male owner of, like, a WNBA team starting to date one of his star players who was also 25 years younger. That's just a very dicey situation, whether it's a man or woman in either role. (And I love both Rebecca and Sam and think they have terrific chemistry on the show.)

Trevor is such a savage

The town that Dracula attacked in the first episode was Targoviste. I'm assuming everyone in Targoviste is dead. Now the monsters are spreading out and attacking the whole country. This is a different town called Gresit. The people of Gresit weren't involved with killing Dracula's wife, that was the town of Targoviste. I think that was a point of confusion for you guys. Different towns. Also at the 20:20 timestamp you guys seemed confused by the word "pogrom." A "pogrom" is an organized massacre of a particular ethnic group according to google. Yes, I had to look it up too just to make sure. So Trevor is worried that the people of Gresit will organize and attack the Speakers if they stay in town. I think that Trevor dislikes people not because they "stand by and do nothing", he dislikes people because they often actively take part in the persecution, like persecuting his family or persecuting the Speakers. That's my theory why Trevor spit on that pile of dead.

Totally forgot to watch this last week. Glad you guys are enjoying it. Not going to look if anyone said it already but since Dameron mentioned it last week Trevor is the playable character in Castlevania 1 and 3 (this show is chronologically right here), Simon is 2, and I think Richter is 4 (might be Simon again) and Symphony of the Night. After that ther are so many other Belmonts or branch families in the MANY titles following it. And unrelated, but Suraj I feel you on the "hopeless", aspect however I also think it's not that anyone is actually powerless, but the problem/question is what is the actual breaking point? I'm not sure how many people actually realize it but money isn't actually real and it's just a matter of everyone choosing to "value" it. The system can very realistically be changed and destroyed by everyday nobodies but we also know that that actually just leaves us at a law of the jungle scenario where everyone is quite openly your enemy. It'll be rugged individualism that will make people group up into clans, families and/or groups that'll just grow until we eventually get right back to basically what we have now XD

I can’t until you catch up to the new season of ted lasso! 😁

I agree, the power dynamic turns me off to their ship. If they do it right though, company disclosure stuff, etc, it could possibly work I guess. Still not a huge fan of it tbh

Why do you turn your head to the side whenever you drink? Just curious
