Aw damn, no Office reactions yet? I don't have Peacock to watch uncut, and even if I did, I still don't like for all the Disney Plus shows because I have to be at home on my computer to try and sync things up and I have to watch entire episodes all over again so I just like quick reactions now 😅

They aren't just longer. In some cases they are shorter, and in some cases I think shots are ordered or edited different. Turns it from being a passive watchalong to an active one.

Floch is a very underrated character. I always found it interesting when people pointed out that Eren was manipulated by Zeke or some reason why they didn't like this Yeagerist turnover. But floch was literally the lone survivor of the Beast Titans rock barrage. He saw everyone die and still trusted Eren to follow to join forces with that same beast titan without even knowing context I guess.... Flochs my guy, Erens my guy and Eldians will not be saved without Eren Yeager.

Still watching mid on titan? Yikes. The series flops hard after the timeskip. Too bad they still a lot of D-riders for it and can't admit when the series goes downhill but hopefully one day it will get replaced with something good

Why not? The author of the series uses "Godwin Law" for his world building. Individually child soldiers, authoritarianism, etc aren't an indication of Nazism. However, putting all the elements together the author hits you over the face with parallels of Nazi Germany. If it walks and talks like a duck... it's a duck. It's not lazy to put 1+1 together when the world building for Marley is extremely lazy.

Sometimes I get echoes when watching uncuts. Its because the normies don't wear headphones. It doesn't happen with reactors who do wear them. The solution is to guess which video is ahead in time, and then press pause then unpause very quickly. A fraction of a second. If you accidentally overdo it, you might have to repeat the process on the other video. But you just keep trying until the echo goes away

What's lazy is making so much of what are cosmetic parallels, between a fictional fallen empire of people cursed with the ability change into mindless anthropophaginian giant monster trying to survive the mass unaliving of a guilt-ridden monarchs, and the nation(s) that retaliates against that threat. It's so insensitive to real world survivors of war, genocide, ethnocide, and shows a surface level understanding of racism, colonialism, and a loss of collective memory. No surprise that it's mostly american audience that make those tone-deaf comparaison.

I gotta say you guys are doing yourselves a disservice watching the extended version of The Office first. As a fan its cool to see extra but they often make certain scenes not as funny as the original from what im seeing.

Yeah I'm not a fan of extended versions of any show or movie. I mean, the shows editors decided that some scenes weren't good enough to make the cut. And now some TV executive decides to put them back in for "superfans"?

They're literally not cosmetic parallels but 1 to 1 parallels and I call you naive or ignorant of history if you can't see the 1 to 1 parallels. Also.... stop with the over-dramatic nonsense. It isn't "insensitive" to point out flaws in the world building and criticize the world he built. Blame the writer for being too on the nose and heavy handed; not the viewer. There's live action and anime shows that handle war, genocide, racism, etc a lot better than AoT does and don't have to copy/paste a setting to explore those themes. Regardless if the setting of Marley is a copy of Nazi Germany, the writer is so heavy handed with the world building for Marley it ruins any nuanced themes he's attempting to show the viewer/reader between the Eldia and Marley conflict.

Couldn't possibly disagree more. The superfan cuts are literally just straight upgrades to the originals. The only reason that the scenes didn't make the cut is because of 22 minute episode restrictions which only exist because of advertisers who have nothing to do with creating the show. If advertising wasn't shoved down our throats forcibly they'd have been longer. They're virtually all better than the originals.

So I got peacock so I could watch along with the uncuts but I can't figure out how to get the extended editions. And I didn't understand what was happening at all at first because I didn't know the extended editions existed. Can anyone help me out with where the extended versions are?
