Ugh, I've been worried about Pat's takes ever since you guys started watching this show and this episode is proof of why. Terrible takes about assault and just plain old anti-intellectualism about the show's themes. I'm very worried he's going to derail the reactions when the show starts hitting on even bigger themes.

I totally agree. Buffy is going to get deep and I don't want Pat distracting with stupid jokes and thoughts. I said it before on a youtube post that the Buffy crew should've been the same as the Lost crew. I'm not a fan of this many people in a reaction because so much gets missed. If multiple people wanted to watch it it should've been broken down to smaller groups which would've worked out better for the Normies because it would be more views because as a Buffy fan I would've watched as many small groups react. But this large group is just a little too much and I also worry for future seasons.

Love this episode of Buffy. I absolutely love that it’s Angel who is the closest to getting through to Faith. Everything he said is true. He can relate to her. Faith has always got off on being a slayer. She thinks they are like Gods. Above the law. She craves the darkness, the power. She is in denial about her actions but deep down… she’s a scared kid. She doesn’t know the price to her soul for going to the dark side. Angel does! And I think he’s the only person who can make her see it and understand that. She’s just not ready to hear it or deal. It’s why she goes to the Mayor.
