So happy to hear you guys will be watching Angel. I personally think that Buffy and Angel were made to be watched 1:1. People want to talk about story arcs but there's so many episodes of each series that have direct references to the other show thematic wise that you might otherwise miss if doing chunks of each series. Joss was the show runner for both series so of course he was going to make references to each other. I've seen many reactors miss subtle things when they go with the "arc" view, which was originally introduced with Netflix DVD rentals to cut down on disc swapping. Either way though, I think you'll be happy with the decision to watch both.

If you plan on watching the Boruto movie, I HIGHLY advise you get with your Discord fam and have them direct you to the episode(s) you need to watch or a supercut of them. The movie is undebatably subpar compared to the show's version of the events, which was featured in numerous "Best Anime Moments of 2018" lists. Hard to say more without spoiling. You guys trusted me about reacting to AoT on BluRay, trust me on this too.
