So Clone Wars was originally intended to be 8 seasons, but when Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012, they canceled the show after 5. So for a time, this was the series finale as well. But because of how long it takes to make animation, they were already well into production of Season 6, with several arcs already completed. When Netflix licensed the streaming rights, these episodes were known as the lost episodes, which aired for the first time there, and then that became the new series finale. But after Filoni completed Rebels, Disney allowed him to to finish the Clone Wars proper, and we got Season 7 in 2020. Many arcs that were originally planned for Seasons 6-8 were adapted into other media: the Ahsoka novel, Dark Disciple, and Son of Dathomir. There are a number of episodes that were in production at the time of cancelation which remained unfinished but had previs animation and completed voiceover. Some of these were retooled for Season 7 under Disney. But for many of us, Season 5 still feels like the end of an era,, as it answered the question of why Ahsoka wasn't in Revenge of the Sith. The series began with her, and for a while, it ended with her as well.

I’m sorry to ask if this question has been answered before, but how will 3-episode arcs work with this release schedule ?

Yep, the Jedi are super rigid in their dogma and traditions, like the marriage thing. Which is what allows the Sith to manipulate them. (Good thing Luke learned from that and adapted right?)

The actor who voices the Admiral, the narrator, and Yoda (Tom Kane) did not die. He had a stroke, but he survived. It impaired his voice. He has a hard time speaking even as himself, so he can't really do "cartoon-y" voices anymore.

This is the episode I’ve been waiting a year for you to watch!! I’m so glad you all love Ahsoka as much as I do. Her and Anakin’s relationship is my favorite in all of Star Wars. Can’t wait for you to see the rest of the show and then Rebels. You won’t be disappointed
