Not really a spoiler at this point, but I personally don't have an issue with the Kaguya thing. My issue with this arc is this really solidifies the wasted potential of most of the side characters. Good guy wise, Shippuden as a whole basically shits on anyone who isn't Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Shikamaru. There were so many opportunities for other people to be great and contribute to this thing but they made it to where not only could they not win without Naruto, there was almost no point to anyone else even being there (Hinata and Rock Lee probably being the most aggravatingly snubbed characters in my book).
