I love it when the timers are sloppy, makes the syncing a challenge. Kai, Kuro and Yaku are Nekoma's 3rd years, paralleling Sugawara, Daichi and Asahi.

We need a double drop it’s been too long

Glad Pat and Suraj understood that whole cheating moment! There were a couple scenes of Nohebi they skipped out on from the manga unfortunately

Basically for the confusion about the representatives for nationals: since Tokyo is a much bigger prefecture than a small one like the one Karasuno is from, Tokyo gets to have two reps for nationals. That being the first seed (the winner of the tournament you just watched) which was Itachiyama, the second seed being the runner ups which was Fukorodani. However, since Tokyo is also hosting the venue, they get to have a third representative this year, which is what the match Nekoma vs. Nohebi was deciding and as we just saw, Nekoma made it!

I knew Pat liked when players did unhonorable plays in front of refs..he couldn't win back then..cause his skills trash

It's not really cheating in sports, more like flirting with the rules. Good coaches/players find ways to push the rules to the absolute limit so that the refs can't do much but make a judgement call from all the evidence they have (which sometimes is the wrong decision to be honest) lol Back when the All Blacks were at the height of their game, other countries called them cheaters but can't do much since the refs deemed it "fair enough" lol From All Blacks supporter's views (like myself) it's not even cheating, other teams were just jealous they never thought of it first, because only the refs can deem it cheating. Also love the Slytherin references (a Slytherin myself) lmao

Late but yea, I dont consider that cheating. More that the other team was willing to do anything to win because they are that competitive. Not like they deliberately did anything to hurt the other players or anything like that just helped the whistles be in their favor

I knew Pat would understand Nohebi's team culture. In competitive sports you use whatever tools you have to give your team a chance. Like when a receiver makes a catch that looks like it hits the ground. The defense doesn't sit quiet and let the referee make the call...they gesture that the ball hit the ground and mimic an incomplete call. It's the refs job to make the correct call.
