Auh, the episode that makes me more sorry for Subaru. Finally realizing the possibility that the world's he leaves behind when he dies, continues on. Such a depressing thought. As for the contract that Echidna wanted to form with Subaru was one where she would guide him to the best possible future combining her knowledge and his Return by Death ability. However, in return he will have to go through all possibilities or go through extra loops using Return by Death, in order to satiate Echidna’s curiosity and her greed.  As for sins. It's how they act and view their sins. Not by how they look like. And also their Authority. Lust's authority was looking like anyone who the person wants her to be. And also when someone goes near her they cannot breath in her presence because her authority makes them forget. As what you need to know about basic Isekai. Is that most of the time, the MC is born, transported or summoned into the world and is blessed or inherited to be overpowered without much struggling to overcome an obstacle. They barely have any character development much as Subaru does. Plus. This is also catalyzed as mystery too. Hence the twists.

*Quick Info Possibly Missed* Episode 3 of this season when Subaru first drinks Echidna's tea she tells a brief bit on each Witch which gives more on each sin brought to the world. I thought this bit might be important given that the Witch of Lust looks how she does. Also, you've all seen the serpent already in the movie. Puck in the movie called it by name.

Echidnas crazy rant cut some intersting things and was around 80 % shorter in the anime than in the novel.

Satella consumed all the witches and took their powers, but echidna traveled the world collecting the other 5 witches souls before her death (meaning she was probably the last one to be killed by satella ) The witches cult also gets there powers (the sin archbishops have from harvesting power from the corpses of The witches)

The story gets considerably more easy to follow now (keep in mind episode 13 marks the end of the first half, the second half is considerably more straightforward, the first half of season 2 is basically ??? I think it is important for you guys to be continuous in reading comments on the rezero posts and on youtube. At least the ones patreon members make before you fully release it. We can help make it easier for you guys. Don't get disappointed if someone happens to rag on you guys (cause I know it has been happening to micky since he hasn't quite been up to date and understanding as much as the others). Just try to understand that people want you guys to understand the series and see the things people like about it. I personally wouldn't call the series perfect. People sometimes compare the level of story writing to AOT but AOT has severely and drastically killed itself with its terrible ending in the manga and rezero hasn't. It just takes time to learn and possibly adapt to the kind of writing it has. I would definitely suggest binging it again without too many weird breaks in between. It might help out a lot better.

The only Isekai were the MC is not overpowerd once reborn is Konosuba. Kazuma goes through hilarious HELL with his useless girls.!!! Love that anime and recommend 100% 🖤🖤🖤🤣🤣🤣

I won't blame you guys completely because you do watch a lot of other shows and stuff like that, but a lot of the confusion with this series for you guys comes from the fact that you forget a LOT of key information. Questions you guys ask in these reactions have already been answered several times in the series, some even as early as episode 7 of the first season (Whenever Mickey asked if Beatrice had ever been outside of the mansion before, she was out on the cliff with Subaru and Ram before he jumped off)
