Why isn't Chris in these reactions, he usually gets angry at how Black people are depicted in Anime, finally there is one where the lead is Black and he's not reacting

Yasukes lord, Oda Nobunaga is the reason why Japan unified and was able to stand up against Western powers centuries later. He paved the way for those after him to unite Japan. Probably the most known Japanese historical figure.

Also the Catholic church being involved with Japan at that time isnt weird at all. A significant chunk of Japanese Daimyo (lords) converted for better prices on goods with the European traders.

Oda Nobunaga preferred men but he obviously had to get married as a lord.

This anime kinda sucks, totally not what I was hoping it would be and so far it's been a big let down and missed opportunity. I'm kinda amazed the studio behind this is the same studio doing Jujutsu Kaisen, Dorohedoro, Dororo and AoT s4. They must have given Netflix the D Team to work on this one. Just my opinion

The one review I saw of this show is that the historical Yasuke was vastly more interesting than the show, which hits hard since when is real life more interesting than anime
