Bunny’s speech here is everything to me. Reagan’s War on Drugs ruined so much and it may have ruined Police work, real Police work more than anything else. This is why I hold the Wire up as the most important show ever made. That speech opened my eyes in so many ways and why the Wire is as important today as it was 15 years ago. We’re having real conversations now about what the role of the police should be in our society and Bunny is just as right today as he was then.

"Vice Governor" in most (if not all) states is Lieutenant Governor and is elected in a separate vote than the Governor (unlike President and VP of the US which are elected together). City governments do things a lot differently from city to city. In Baltimore's case, the council president is a voting member and leader of the city council but is elected citywide instead of for a single district. The council president does become mayor if the position becomes vacant.
