Yo this ep of bullying in the beginning reminded me so much of this extremely fucked up manga im recently reading that is very new and popping atm. It also deals around the bullying storyline, and the scenes this Death Note ep is just like the bullying in this manga, expect 50x worst. never heard of any of that. i know from some cultures (some not all indigenous american tribes and some african tribes) believe that if you eat the fresh flesh/meat of a kill you can take on their power/strength. dont get why it only works for the killer though, maybe to convince folks to volunteer for hunting duties? just thinking from a scientific stand point

The reason they didn't give Takada a backstory is because she's someone we've already met and has an established connection to Light. While Teru is a character we've never met before and who Light felt confident enough to leave his Notebook to. That being said, lay off the homie Mikami Suraj 😤
