Well the comic is great according to what people say. Basically like when a good manga gets an adaptation 🤷🏿‍♂️. Episode 5(dropped today) is my favorite so far.

The R rating had me a bit confused in the beginning, but after the credits they just hit a switch and stopped kidding around. The whole episode is just a setup for the actual show to start. Including the pg combat scenes and the lack luster cliché writing on things like throwing that ball without killing somebody. The Rip-off Lustice League... Even the animation quality gets better and better throughout the episode. This is only really apparent on the second watch though. Really smart writing to subvert expectations.

btw, there is a static shock MOVIE in the works and it's going to be produced by Michael B. Jordan. it was announced around October of last year.
