WOW.. Easily one of the best if not best animated episode in naruto ever. The animation was off the charts. The stylistic approach is highly controversial. Some of the scenes deviate a bit too much from the designs and get a bit too loose for my taste, but the rest is just absolutely incredible. Lets not forget the music and the plot in this episode. PEAK!!!!

i personally loved the animation here.. but I really wish they just didnt do that hammer in the head thing and that road runner run.. those just looked stupid especially since they werent exactly in the manga.. but everything else was phenominal

Never understood why folks hated the art style change in this episode. It was in line with the whole Kabuki theme Naruto (and Jiraiya) had going imo. It reminded me of the old Japanese woodblock paintings, ukiyo-e, that you see of samurai and kabuki actors with elongated and exaggerated faces. It surprised me no one thought about what cultural inferences might have been made even in the art style but then again, everyone was a dumb kid when they watched this probably.

Do u mean the link isn't working at all? If so you have to watch it off the Patreon website itself, not the Vimeo app. If you mean why there isn't a video of the Naruto episode playing while they watch it's because this is the uncut version. You have to watch the regular edited version to see the video playing at the same time. The uncut versions don't show the video screen as they watch because it would infringe on copyright and they also don't edit it down for the uncut. The uncut has a timestamp so that you sync your own Naruto episode in a separate browser window and watch it along with them
