At this point, it would probably be best for you guys just to binge the rest of the series to limit your frustration. I know you guys want answers but tbh there will be more questions before there are finally answers. I feel like you guys will be able to lessen your confusion in trying to follow the show/ remember details from previous episodes / not get so upset when new material is presented that mess up your theories if you guys just spend a day to finish the show. Understandable it might not be possible with your schedules to dedicate a whole day to this but just my recommendation for the best viewing experience :)

Young Jonas IS young, and though he has experienced timetravel and even lived awhile in the future, many of the rules are still unknown to him (partly because those in the know have lied and manipulated him, and fed him enough of the truth to make everything they say seem believable). Also, he has seen the makeshift graves that proves without doubt that something catastrophic will happen. In that situation, you can either do nothing/listen to no one (and the catastrophic thing might happen), or do something/listen to someone (and the catastrophic thing might be averted or might still happen). If these are the options, even if you have lost all belief in self-determinism, I believe most people would still chose to do something, to try and change things.

The reason other-Charlotte and Ulrich refered to dead Mads as the kid in the bunker is, that to them it simply seems impossible that this kid could be Mads. Remember that other-Charlotte and Ulrich still do not know about time travel. They possibly think Mads would be either much older now or if killed long decayed.

Also it is very interesting that the "unknown guy" said the quote from Sigmund Freud „Wer Augen hat zu sehen und Ohren zu hören, überzeugt sich, dass die Sterblichen kein Geheimnis verbergen können. You can tell Nikki is getting sick of this show. What a shame as the second half of this final season is phenomenal and answers every question!

Your confusion about Mads, Erik, and the kid in the bunker conversation is that Ulrich does not know 100% that it was Mads. His theory was that the killer took Mads clothes and kept them for years and then killed a new kid and put Mads clothes on him. Which is a logical theory if you don't know about time travel yet.

@Ruth, you gotta pump the breaks! You are giving FARRRR too much info that hasn't been revealed yet. These are end of the show comments for sure! Stop spelling everything out and let some questions exist, thats the point of the show. If you watch this one time and knew every single answer, every bit of trivia, every detail, you are a genius that is not of this world. However if you have seen the show 10 times and watched every reaction channel, and studied the wiki, leave that in your own head for now.

I’m hoping she livens up with the return of Hannah and her shenanigans next week. This was a tough episode because there wasn’t much character focus and was much more big picture plot stuff.

Lol i was ready to give up the show by this point..my brain couldn't handle anymore ...literally took a month break after this 3rd episode but its all worth the watch by the end. The ending is actually sastifying!!

Nikki is freaking about they repeating the same action infinite times. Nikki, you're thinking about things in the wrong way. Is not that they are repeating the same action in infinitum, there is only 1 action, just like in real life. The problem is with time travel, now you are seeing the same action multiple times. Is like a record video. I can go bak to a point on this video, but you will always do the same thing. If I put the video on loop, doesn't change the fact that in reality you just recorded it 1 time, and there will be no change. Now about there is no point on the series because things are always happening. Think it like a trip, You have a point you start(home) and you have a destination(foreign country), the important of the trip is not just the destination, but enjoying all the points in between(and also the destination.) Now if you think well about it, you always return home. And we say that the trip ended when we arrive back. So in fact the destination of the trip is the same as the beginning. Just because the Beginning and the Destination are the same, doesn't mean that all trips that you can ever take will be the same and that they have no value. The points inbetween all matter. In fact the journey is more important than the destination. Now note that you still journeying the Dark trip and you don't even know the ending. Still you're fretting that the end is the beginning. And things don't change(again, they are only happening 1 time).

As others said you just gotta have faith. Unlike a lot of other shows DARK wraps in a fairly satisfying way. I empathise with Nikki but you gotta just keep watching and paying attention.

Yes Suraj, you were right. The lines the lip guy trio says to Eva is what Magnus says to Adam in last season. Also, at the beginning of the episode, what lip guy says to blind Tannhaus is what Clausen says to Alekszander when he has him detained, which explains that the lip guy sent the letter to Clausen. And why Charlotte says *Mads, Erik, and the kid in the bunker* is because they still think its another boy and not really Mads. Enjoy while you can coz it will be a REAL MIND FUCK from now on. xD
