A senpai is an upperclassman...so hinata kageyama tsukki yamaguchi are in first year high-school..tanaka and nishinoya being second year are their senpai its a position of seniority..Suga Asahi and Daichi (captain ) are third years..so they will be graduating school once the year is over..

Chidori is a reference to birds, not lightning. It’s called Chidori in Naruto, because it’s a reference to the sound the jutsu produces “1000 chirping birds.” Raikiri is the other name, meaning lightning blade, essentially.

"Ace" is a designation more than it is a position. It's the player you rely on to score when you're desperate or if the receive after the serve is messy. The "Ace" is usually the left-wing spiker, so for Karasuno that would be Asahi, and potentially Tanaka.

Ace (also called wing spiker) is the person who spikes. Libero is basically the defender who’s not allowed to spike because he’s not allowed to cross the middle line (you’ll see later on). Middle blocker (hinata’s position) is the person who is in front of the net who does the blocking. Setter is the person next to the middle blocker who passes the ball pretty much, but he can also spike. There can only be 6 players on the court. Also when the team makes a sub that sub is only there until the opponent makes another point and the sub can no longer come back throughout the whole match. Also one thing to point out is that when the referee points his flag down that means it’s in and when he points his flag up it means it’s out. Hopefully that helps y’all if not the show will explain it too.
