Well, since you guys likely had watch the next two episodes already. Then maybe Nahid, decided to give it another chance. Especially if you guys are near the end right now. I'll say it already, if Nahid decides to stick around for Season 2 and give him the heads up, that Season 2 has dialogues similar to Episode 18. Yet I'll say that Season 2 is quite better then season 1 on my perspective and I'm sure some fans feel the same as well. Just another heads up if you guy's are near the end already. That Season 2 right now is a exclusive to certain streaming services, on Crunchyroll and HBO Max (As mentioned by someone else). It's still currently running the second half of the season.

This is one of my favorite episodes! I know it may seem slow, but we see Subaru learn how to negotiate and see that he has to offer the various leaders something in return, and he can't just expect them to help him with something this 'big' on morals alone. He begins to leverage the knowledge he gained from multiple deaths, like how he knew when the White Whale would come by remembering the time on his phone. Small correction, no spoilers, the White Whale is not Gluttony itself but rather was created by Witch of Gluttony. It's one line of dialogue that happens fast in this episode so no worries if you missed it. Happens. ReZero is very dialogue heavy and I totally understand why you guys switched to the dub. I actually like the dub. P.S. We should give the dubs more of a chance. I see a lot of hate towards them in some of the other comments, we should all just enjoy the show.

Lotta Jesse's in here today

Pyraph

I'm glad they decided to switch to the dub. The dub itself is actually really good, and it can only make it easier on them hearing the story.

Nahid, if u don't like Re:Zero, don't force yourself to watch something u don't like. Im still wondering to this day why Suraj didnt become apart of this group reaction lmao. Love u Nahid bro, but if not feeling it, then u letting the reactions down. This show isnt about action. This not shonen, its isekai. So dialogue, mystery, and storytelling will be the main for this show.

Pyraph

Yeah, it doesn't feel like much happened, but it was mainly to set things up for the future and show that Subaru is finally learning from his mistakes instead of repeating them.

Alex cleveland

Also SN: Isekai can have jam packed action, just for Re:Zero, thats not the case. Re:Zero has action, but not like that.

I would say season2 is better so far for someone like Nahid. I would say try to get to that.

J S

I dunno, Season 2 has a LOT of long exposition segments. Nothing quite as static as the rooftop talk (which I thought was amazing from a character development perspective), but still a lot of talking.

Theory of Hope

If the dub is easier for you guys, go ahead but I won't be watching the reactions anymore. Nothing wrong with you guys but I can't stand the dub for this anime in particular. The sound of the actors dont fit for me and they change the personalities of the cast a little. You guys enjoy the anime regardless though.

Bruh why is this dubbed? I thought they were doing sub?

Dooly

They decided the sub is too complicated for some reason and switched to dub. Their logic makes no sense but it is what it is.

Dooly

Yeah I feel the same. I’m going to avoid their anime reactions in general seeing as all but one are dubbed.

Anonymous

Nah that’s messed up, the sub is so much better! Especially in S2.. smh

Dooly

Wonder what they’d think of the Monogatari series. Though seeing as it’s mostly dialogue and there’s no dub I doubt they’d like it. They’ve got such limited horizons if all they watch are shounen series. In dub no less.

Shockzz1234

Nahid would break the TV in a fit of rage if he ever watched the Monogatari series lmao if THIS is too much dialogue for him, he's fucked when it comes to a lot of good, dialogue heavy anime out there, or just shows in general. That's why i'm surprised he likes Death Note so much. But it is what it is, not his cup of tea i guess.

Joanaver

I'm usually a sub person, but with this anime I can understand why most people would prefer dub. This is a heavy conversational anime and you need to pay attention and listen to everything in order to make sense of what you are seeing. I love this anime and season 2 is sooo good and I can't wait for you guys to catch up.

ComradeSilva

Can you guys chill with the whining? I swear sub elitists are one of the worst aspects of the anime community. I generally prefer subs as well, but there is nothing wrong with choosing to watch an anime in one's native language, particularly when the dub is well done like Re:Zero.

Kristian

Next episode is going to be legendary

Alex

Seriously. The whole subs vs dubs bullshit is the worst part of any anime.
