I've been refreshing for hours. I need a life.

Alwyn Smith

finally!!!! Been waiting for this upload forever...

Dinero

Dang man yall should do a double drop, I can't wait to see reactions to the rest of the season

Ellis hayes

Double droooooooop

Kamina 1

Marketa calling Chris a "Bunk" 😆 i believe it. Also. I'm praying for a double drop next week 🙏

Alex

Yeah, I feel bad for Ziggy this episode too. I mean he made his own decisions and some of them were incredibly dumb. But we also get glimpses that he is smarter than other people give him credit for being and he's just fundamentally unsuited for the life that he was born into.

Laura

Not sure if any of you will have first hand experience of severe anxiety, but that scene where Ziggy's in the street and the car after shooting the Greeks, the way it's shot and the way the sound drops out, is in my experience a really accurate portrayal of a bad panic attack. I've had that experience (didn't need to kill anyone to feel it, either!) and it feels very authentic.

Elle B.

Prez punching Valchek was so satisfying.

Jan Pospisil

So I don't think anyone else suggested this before, but a double drop for next week would be pretty sweet.

Tom McDonald

Ziggy reflecting during his confession "double-g" for "begging" when he killed the Greek with the nickname "double-g". I've watched this series 3 times, but only caught it today when Nick says "he killed two of the Greeks, he killed double-g". Great writing.

Queef Burglar

Pat getting upset that the coke is being washed away is so hilarious lol

ShaneSpear

Too bad Huell wasn't around for the last scene. "I gotta do it man - *face first plunge*"

How did you guys come to the conclusion that ziggy did not get the love he deserved? Surely we only see his father and him in relation as adults, where Ziggy is not as dependent on his fathers love. Besides he obviously wants to be independent he is seeing his father be a man of authority and I believe that might have made him want some of that glory. Then when he sees his cousin Nicky also making moves that further motivates him and it is all about the self, the ego and self glorification. He wants to be someone do something. But I don't feel like we know how much or how little love he got at home heck we have not seen his mother yet. But we know she wanted him to go to college like his brother. Ziggy is immature and impulsive he does not think about consequences and just does. If he did think he could be smarter, we have seen he is intelligent, but sometimes he lets his impulses get the better of him and that happens too often.

Brother Mouzone will henceforth be known as Dr Gubbenheimer.

Eduardo Gonzalez

a double drop for next week would be really really cool but i understand if u cant

Ryan

Speaking of the editor, Dustin you brought up some good points about the show and the Barksdales last season what are your thoughts about this season especially In regards to Stringer and Avon?

Ryan

Omar ain’t no Robin Hood. He peels of a package for the junkies occasionally but it’s not done altruistically. He does it so the Junkies won’t give him up to the dealers.

Acash33

Frank Mathews is a real person he was just telling a story Matthews controlled a lot of the east coast drug trade late 60’s. Avon did not deal with Italians. Roberto was connect and they are Colombian.

JD

Nicki was the one who got Ziggy introduced to the Greeks, Frank didn't get his son into the game, even though he should have had a better idea of what was going on with his son. Ziggy was ashamed and remorseful, it wasn't stupidity that kept him in the car and it wasn't boasting when he made the correction to say GG was begging for his life. He was owning up to the awful thing he had done, and making sure he wouldn't get off light.

JD

"another season where nothing gets solved" - in real life too, the drug trade doesn't get solved by police cases either, although that was unfair since Avon and co went to prison off of season 1

JD

Ziggy only shot a fence, a guy with a store to sell stolen shit to. It's not like it was someone directly under The Greek. (I say only meaning that it doesn't follow that that action would get him "hit".)

Thoko

I think its a mix. In his moment of rage, he enjoyed the revenge of watching a man beg for his life. But then in the aftermath, Ziggy had some remorse for this joy, and he wanted to be punished for it. He wasn't boasting, but at one point he was probably happy to see a man beg.

Thoko

They were thinking about hitting him though. They said "but the police have him now", which suggests that if he was not with the police, they would be trying to get to him.

Thoko

A couple weeks ago, a guy left a comment here questioning why the fans don't like Ziggy. He said that "Ziggy is like Naruto". Bruh. This episode clearly shows that Ziggy ain't that

Laura

I think that, while Frank is far from the worst father in the show, he does let Ziggy down. Frank's whole focus is the union and it's hard to criticise that. But he keeps Ziggy in a job where he has no aptitude and no respect - if he'd disciplined him appropriately as a boss or even fired him then Ziggy would either still be at the docks but doing what was expected of him and fitting in, or he'd be somewhere else, doing something else. But Frank indulges him by keeping him in a job, whilst doing nothing to help him thrive in that job. Ziggy's whole problem is that he wants to be respected. Getting no respect on the docks drives him to crime. Getting no respect in the criminal world drives him to murder. He's an asshole, he fucks shit up, he absolutely shouldn't have shot the Greeks, and deserves to face the law on that. But I do empathise with him because thinking back you can see the rage growing throughout the season, and we the viewers are just as guilty as the people around him because we don't take him seriously, we think he might get killed but we don't believe he'll harm anyone because we see that rage as impotent. He just wants to be seen. To be treated as an equal by someone - and of course the culture he's immersed in says that violence is a way to get respect. It's only after he's done it that he realises what a terrible thing it is, and that it hasn't improved his standing at all.

Yeah, I would think the Greek wouldn't care about Ziggy. He doesn't know anything and revenge doesn't make money. BUT I will ask what I think is the important question. Ziggy in actual prison, you don't think he's gonna piss off the wrong person inside of two weeks?

Chandra

Did y’all recognize Prissy, the girl Nick was talking to? It was Merrit Wever aka Denise (Tara’s girlfriend) from The Walking Dead.

Naijeru

I cannot STAND Ziggy. Not for one bit, he only gets the bare minimum of respect for sharing a species with me. He’s a candidate for worst character on The Wire for sure.

john deer

can u start dropping 2 episodes a week on patreon. i literally cannot wait for u guys to watch season 3 and 4

Kiana B.

lmao @ y'all lusting after lester........same.

A L

only morons hate on Brother Mouzone. they're the same people that say Omar being gay is unrealistic.
