So Jonas in 1921 connects back to the story Noah told Helge back in season 1 about the stranger that arrived in his town with sadness is in eyes ... I love the young Noah’s cocky acting style having already been told some things by the older Noah. I also weirdly love relationship between the two Noahs as the older guides the younger.

I am also glad in 2020 how the Dopplers and Kanhwalds are opening up and sharing their secrets and Katarina’s original reaction is exactly what I would have expected and then even more heartbreaking when she finally believes it after seeing the school picture. And while I LOVE this show, there is a sore lack of comic relief. The 1986 Claudia trying to work the IPad is my first laugh watching this show in a while.

The first time I watched this show , I first had the feeling Adam was Jonas based off of the foreshadowing in the scene where middle aged Jonas says that Claudia became the very thing she was trying to fight.

Also my argument for why they don’t automatically connect the dots on these things... when I was younger (prob ages 7-14) my dads boss has a daughter the same age as my and a son the same age as my brother. We met at a bring your kids to work day and instantly clicked and started to do things with our families as a group every so often. Her dad got a new job around high school and they moved away. Then when I was about 22 we met again casually through friends, followed each other Instagram, and ran into each other many times over the course of a year through our mutual friends before realizing we knew each other as kids. Even now that I know, I can recall dozens of specific stories of my experiences with this girl as a child yet I can’t actually picture in my head what she would have looked like and I don’t know if I ever would have recognized her if she didn’t remember first!!

My favorite parts are everyone finally sharing information and getting on the same page both in the bunker with the adults and in the caves with the kids. I mean the kids haven't really learned anything from Bartoz. However you can clearly tell by the research they have found that they must be considering the possibility of time travel right?? Obviously they know Bartoz has a lot more answers then they do. With him refusing to tell them anything I could see why they are treating him this way. They don't know if their father and brother are dead or alive or where they have been all this time or who's behind it all. And the first person they see coming out of the caves with some unknown device is Bartoz. Who Martha already knows has been keeping secrets and acting differently. They want answers clearly at any cost at this point. Also I love the Adam reveal of course. I had suspected Jonas for a long time but to finally get that payoff was nice! However as you mentioned, now that brings up so many more questions. Especially what causes Jonas to become Adam? When he represents literally everything middle age Jonas hates.

I'll say this, after this episode the whole show became a lot easier to follow and more satisfying cuz you feel like they're finally giving you answers

At this point we should all just assume every character appearing in the show thus far is a member of the 4 families SOMEHOW lol this is getting pretty ridiculous. Best episode of the season so far imo. - It seems to me that older Jonas recognized that gun his mother had. Young Jonas may have met Alexander at some point in his life. That guy is still the biggest unknown.

Yeah people who think you would make automatic connections that time travel is real because you find someone familiar isn’t thinking things through. It’s obvious to YOU because you’re watching a TV show on a couch about si-fi time travel. You can’t go around life trying to remember distant memories and strange patterns (possible time travel, fairies, ghosts, leprechauns) or you’ll go crazy. Makes no sense.
