I think Claudia’s storyline is my favorite in this series - this episode kicks off a lot of really cool stuff with her! I also really like the questioning of Charlotte’s parents as this was something I never really wondered about in the first season.

This is the type of show I would even love to see this same crew react to again from the beginning once they have finished!! There are soo many new things to pick up on and connections you couldn’t possibly make until you have already seen the ending. Would love to see these guys freak out about how well planned out this show was and be able to have some spoiler filled conversations about how these earlier episodes all connect to things later on.

I spent the whole series thinking older Ulrich was the same actor on heavy make up, but I later learned that it wasn't the same actor at all. This show does things to you, man.

DARK's casting is on another level. There are two or three casting choices in season 3 I don't really like 100%, but that has to wait for another time.

We're already nearly half way through the 26 episode run. Hoping Nikki, Rana, and Suraj do The Leftovers next. I know Suraj has watched because he did a series finale reaction with Navi but hopefully Nikki and Rana would come in blind.

To the thing Nicky was saying that Hannah should have recognized Mikkel as her 'boyfriend' from the 80's in the future (2018). IMO Raj was right. You have to keep in mind that she probably saw Mikkel grow up from a baby boi to the age of 12 (?) If you see someone 'transforming' naturally and fluently over this time period you will manifest his look to that person (Mikkel=Ulrichs son) and not to someone you knew as a child 30 years ago in some nostalgia. And IF she maybe sees at one point some strange familiarity between Mikkel and someone she knew 2 decades ago her mind will not consider it that it could be Michael, her husband. Because it would be impossible :) Great reactions btw. Love this group constellation of yours 💜

Fun Fact: For some reason when I viewed this show I skipped this episode as I binged season 2 and was left with so many holes I had to fill in myself. Like Claudia suddenly knowing about the time travel stuff, Jonas having a random scar on his neck (I assumed from later context that it was just a price to be paid for travelling through time rather than him just literally being hanged in 2052). Really had to jump through some mental hoops to figure everything out lol

The only thing I don't understand is why did Hannah recognise that the way her husband looked as a child and how mikkel looked the exact same earlier in the show. I'm sure she had seen mikkel before he disappeared right?

So I think that maybe we dont know how much time they actually spent together as kids and at what point they get together. Maybe the scene where they meet and those couple other scenes where they pass each other they dont really get together until like high school or maybe even their early 20s. I could definitely see Hannah not making the connection 33 years later
