I was quite happy with the english voice selection compared to the japanese once so far but Madaras voice is way to different to the japanese one in my opinion

I hope they continue watching the series in Dub somehow. I've tried many times to get into the sub and it takes me out of the anime because the voices are so different and in the case of Naruto annoying much like the Japanese voice for Goku.

please, in the next 2 episodes make sure keep meaningless chatter that has nothing to do with the show to yourselves, only this once. Because next 2 episodes are only information drop and you dont want to miss anything trust me. and put subtitles, and put the volume on max. and avoid nonsense chatting during the episodes, after these 2 you can go back being the normies, but until then, do it seriously. just that

I’m shocked no one brought up the part where the version of Madara(Tobi) died from the amateresu and came back to life. What is madara? Does he have various versions of himself? can he rewind time? Can he create time? ,. There are so many theories you can come up with, that’s if you’ve not been spoiled already. This is where I wish you guys were watching more than 2 episodes a week. All these events are building up to one, if not the greatest villains of all time lol

Its easy for people to feel like the Susanoo came out of nowhere but the foreshadowings in the names of the sharingan movesets which are based in Japanese mythology. Its like if a character has two abilities called ‘The Father’ and ‘The Son’ you would expect ‘The Holy Spirit’ to show up eventually.

damn, I got a confession to make. I discovered a new reaction channel and was so caught up in binge watching their ATLA reactions, which they finished btw, that my anticipation for this week's Normies' shippuden was not as high lol. But hey I still enjoyed it okay

I should mention that Itachi was already sick before his fight with Sasuke. But it wasn't because of his over use of his Mangekyo. There's a common misconception that this is the case but the only downfall of the Mangekyo is Blindness. Nothing else. In Itachi's case, It is believed that the Mangekyo also amplified his sicknesses' symptoms (hence the coughing up of blood) It was believed to be a sickness that affected the Lungs, which makes sense as in his skill chart his stamina is unusually low. In the Itachi novels, it was said that every time he used jutsu from his Mangekyo it felt like he was drowning, further confirming it resided in his lungs. Just some uncommon knowledge from the guides and data books as the Anime doesn't explain that. And Madara said he "Implanted" the Amatarasu, so yes he transferred that jutsu to Sasuke.

In case nobody mentioned it yet, that 8 headed serpent is what Orochimaru is named after, it’s called the Yamata no Orochi. And the MS techniques are named after Shinto gods.

Not going to look if it's in here already but Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi do not translate to Sun and Moon. They are Gods of the Sun and Moon respectively in Japanese myth. Itatchi's last move Susano'o is a mythalogical figure famaous for slaying the 8 headed serpent Yamato Orochi (Which I'm fairly certain is the name sake for even the original character Orochimaru is named after). I don't know any other reference to the Totsuka Blade or Yata Mirror specifically, but a lot (if not all) of the mystical Ninja weapon in this series do appear in Japanese myths and fairy tails. Lastly as a a side thought when you joked about Zetsu recording the fight I though about a skit idea of Zetsu and Tobi watch the play back and highlights giving commentary or talking shit XD. Love your reactions as always, really enjoyed this whole arc and still so much I can't wait for you to see.

I'm sure this has already been addressed/remedied since you guys watch these episodes ahead of time, but I just realized the next episode (140) is the last one that's dubbed so far on Hulu. Was just curious if you guys had a backup plan for that. It'd be super awkward and unfortunate if you were forced to switch now. lol. Great reaction as always though!

The thing itachi did to Sasuke by putting amaterasu in his eye was a one time trick that would only trigger in response to madara.
