She loved light beyond him being Kira so knowing he is Kira and the death note wouldn't erase that. Like she wouldn't forget she had a cat for example it's not a full memory wipe. Also yall forgetting that Misa is a mass murderer lol. "A poor woman" when they have provable evidence she was part of the TV station murders either as the accomplice or actual Kira 2.

Yeah, I’m super confused about their reaction lol. How else would you restrain someone that can kill with just a look (I say with just a look since L isn’t aware of the notebook and rules yet). I should only hope the cops take such precaution in real life if someone was that dangerous.

The hair evidence was shown in this episode but it was obtained back when the 2nd Kira tapes were sent to Sakura TV and as you've said they already had Light being followed so at any point since Misa met Light she would easily be a suspect. Also you say that L is going to extreme but I think his actions are directly proportionate to the severity and precedence of the situation. Right now he is chasing two mass serial killers with an unknown kill method that as far as they can tell can be done AT A GLANCE. True that L has come up with nothing as far as a conviction but he also has more than proven that he's not just out there witch hunting either.

Pat is tripping. There has been enough circumstantial to suspect Light for a long time. Police use the same kind of circumstantial evidence for all cases, so why should it be less valid when questioning Light?

At this point, I think L is almost certain the Light is Kira. But all of his evidence is circumstancial. Light fits L's profile of the killer. The FBI agent tailing light died in a wierd way? The fiance of that agent also went missing? On the first day of survielince Light is found to be completely innocent, but the victims dont match the pattern? The girl light is suddenly dating is linked to the tapes from the second Kira?

I can see Misa's point of view. If my family was murdered in front of me and the killers walked free, I'd probably be down with whatever extrajudicial justice occurred to them. And then my family's avenger turns out to be a hottie who says all the right things.
