I would skip Barbarians micky for now because..Next best show I'd suggest to watch on Netflix is The Last Kingdom.. imon_snow is watching, ask their advice I swear its the most underrated viking saxon story!! I got mad love for Vikings but I personally think its better.. better main & side characters, better deaths that make you feel a thing..the drama in situations makes better plot that just makes sense. I know guaranteed you'll probably like it more than vikings and vinland saga, imo

Erased is cool but the ending sorta sucked for all the build up and pain we went through to get to that point. Others may think differently but that is my opinion. I would much rather see mob psycho, dr stone, or shield hero come up next.

I have been waiting on this finale ever since you guys started the series. Askeladd is one of if not the best new character of 2019. He is really what drives this whole prologue and serves as a catalyst for Thorfinn and his future in this series. He may have been fucked up in a lot of ways but he has many layers to his character that you gradually see over the span of this first season. You guys are correct with the ending as it basically just hints at new character to come in the future and characters that have some sort of relation to Thorfinn later on. Marketa may not have been very fond of Askeladd but he plays an important role and allows Thorfinn to develop in becoming his own true character as the series goes on after this.

I appreciate Askeladd's depth of character and the development we've got. I mentioned in the discussed that he carried this whole season. While I admit all that and agree with you that he had crucial influence on Thorfinn, I can't unsee (or ignore) that he ruined Thorfinn, ruined his innocence and wonder. he is essentially a shell of his former self because of how quickly he was forced to grow up. He's a child soldier and he became a child soldier because of Askeladd (and his own vengeance, too, but again he's a child). He will never have a normal life. And that's sad. So I just wanted to acknowledge that. I am very happy with the ending because it represented how fruitless Thorfinns actions have been, but also unshackled him from his past. I'm excited for season 2! - Marketa

maybe for future reactions how about golden kamuy its fun and you learn a lot about old northen japan. it has a bit of a iffy start ( you know what i mean if you have saw the show before) but afther that it gets really good. think treasure hunting and turn it to level 11. really enjoyed your reactions from rezero and vinland. keep up the good work :)

I don't know if those were new characters. I thought the first one was Thorfinn's sister, and the second one was that girl who escaped the village Askelad wiped out in the snow. The guy I'm not sure.

The manga for vinland saga is incredible and there are alot of volumes so there is definitely plenty of story to go yet for a season 2. Season 1 didn't cover that much.
