Also, Ironwood is BOTH the huntsman headmaster and leader of the military of another kingdom, Atlas. Ozpin mentioned this. Think of Atlas as RWBY’s U.S./Russia.

Yeah a RT account is free. However I feel like you have to scroll to find it because they just want you to pass other stuff before getting there. Same reason why milk is in the back of supermarkets. RWBY is definitely their most popular show right now. Maybe after RedvBlue

Ruby is not clueless. They only showed half of Cinder's body in the first episode, the other half was covered by the shadows of the airship.

Literally every character introduced so far is a direct reference to a real world fable/myth/legend/nursery rhyme. Though not all of them are obvious. Rube Rose: Little Red Riding Hood Wiess Schnee: Snow White (her name is literally "Snow White" in German) Blake Belladonna: Belle from Beauty and the Beast (her relationship with the White Fang, literal beasts, this is expanded on more later) Yang Xiao Long: Goldilocks and the Three Bears Jaune Arc: Joan of Arc Nora Valkyrie: Thor (hammer and lightning powers) Pyrrha Nikos: Achilles (during one of the trials Achilles faced, he cross dressed as a red headed woman named Pyrrha, and Achilles hails from the city of Nikos) Lie Ren: Mulan Cardin Winchester: The Cardinal of Winchester, the man who burned Joan of Arc at the stake for being a witch Ozpin: Wizard of Oz Glynda Goodwitch: The Good Witch from the Wizard of Oz General James Ironwood: The Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz Penny: Pinocchio (EVERYONE was guessing she was a robot early on) Professor Peter Port: Peter from Peter and the Wolf Professor Bartholomew Oubleck: Bartholomew from Bartholomew and the Oubleck Cinder: Cinderella (her attacks in the first episode were with glass shards and fire, you know, cinders) Roman Torchwick: Lampwick, the crook in Pinocchio (he's a fox with a weasel sidekick in the Disney version) Mercury Black: the roman/greek god Mercury/Hermes Sun Wukong: Son Wukong from Journey to the West Neptune: Neptune, god of the sea Emerald Sustai: Alladin, I guess? A pickpocket of middle eastern descent who's last name literally means "Thief". She's by far the hardest to place, but Rooster Teeth have said she's based on SOMETHING. And...this one is also a stretch, but... Tuskon: Sabertooth from the X-Men comics. He was killed by Mercury, the real world metal Mercury is also called Quicksilver, Quicksilver is a character in the X-Men universe, who, in one timeline, kills Sabertooth.... ...okay, so maybe not EVERY named character is a reference.

Something that I completely missed in my nth time watching this show was how Neptune called Weiss "snow angel" which is she appeared to enjoy, while Jaune also called her Snow Angel in Volume One and SHE DOES NOT enjoy that! I think it makes Jaune's "WTF is happening?" response even funnier.

The Cardinal of Winchester, Henry Beaufort is commonly believed to have been involved in The Trial and Execution of Joan of Arc. This however is not supported by surviving documentation. It was Pierre Cauchon, the Bishop of Beauvais, who presided over the trial. She was executed by Geoffrey Thérage. Also Joan was executed for the crime of Heresy in the form of crossdressing.

You guys should watch the world of Remnant videos, they’re very short but also very informative. DO NOT/ TRY NOT TO LOOK AT THE THUMBNAILS THEY CONTAIN SPOILERS! You can watch episodes 1-7 now (you can binge them if you want). I recommend to watch episode 8 in season 3. You should watch episodes 9-16 in season 4, (they’re really relevant now but there are a few spoilers in them so I recommend you watch in season 4.) (Eps 1-7 can watch now) Episode 1:Dust Episode 2: Kingdoms Episode 3: Grimm Episode 4: Aura Episode 5: Vytal Festival Episode 6: Huntsman/ Huntresses Episode 7: The Cross Continental Transit System (CCTS) (I recommend watch ep 8 season 3) Episode 8: The four maidens (Watch eps 9-16 in season 4) Episode 9: Vale Episode 10: Mistral Episode 11: Atlas Episode 12: Vacuo Episode 13: Between the Kingdoms Episode 14: Faunus Episode 15: Schnee dust Company Episode 16: The Great War. So here are the fairy tale references for the characters you might have missed. James Ironwood is the tin man. Cinder is based on Cinderella (I mean based off her name you should've guessed that) Mercury(who's voiced by Yuri Lowenthal aka Sasuke Uchiha) is based off of the Roman God Mercury, Emerald(the black girl with green hair) is based off of Aladdin, Snow White is Wiess if your forgot, Sun is based off of the Monkey King of the same name, and Neptune is based off of the Roman God of the same name, and I think that's it. Love u guys keep up the good content!
