The red headed, high af guy around 8:15 is basically The Normies 😅 This show pulls off what most of Batman media doesn't; showing Batman using other methods to help people rather that just beating the crap out of everyone. When watching the movies and other animated shows, I get Chris's criticism. BTAS does the best job of showing the true Batman.

You went from filters to phones because Nahid was pointing out complicated technology we already long had before the 90’s that would suggest that something as simple as a filter should not be mind-blowing for that time. lol Nahid ain’t stupid. Also the word “filter” existed long before the digital effect. All the words and terms used in digital animation and film editing (including the word “film”, obviously) comes from things they actually physically did in earlier years. You don’t have a digital filter? Use a physical one. They likely took photos of each completed frame which means there’s a number of tricks they can use to make something glow or blur. Including adjusting the lens or putting something in front of like a slightly foggy transparent piece of plastic lens, known as a filter. I mean, cameras even today have physical lens filters that change how the shot looks including the ability to erase reflections on glass in a shot. Just some movie/animation fun facts~~

It does. It’s got the best look and best portrayal and definitely best voice of Batman. With with the comics constantly changing, this is basically the definitive Batman. In the movies he’s basically just fighting villains. Maybe it’s something he grows obsessed with over time, leading Robin to disband from him for changing.
