Honestly I think the show is trying to catch people victim blaming. Because despite Beck making a series of really, REALLY shitty decisions, this doesn't give Joe the right to do any of the shit he does either.

'Victim Blaming' she's no victim, problem with America half the people don't want to take responsibility. She was an entitled bitch, that got away with all her entitled ways until she met Joe. He's psychotic and isn't afraid to give it back. She got more than what she deserved, but life isn't fair. Eventually you end up messing with the wrong person.

I love the Marketa+Chris duo in these reactions. They both have high comedy skills, infectious laughter and fun takes on characters while also having a level of grounded analysis and empathetic evaluation that I really really appreciate. Plus their little couple moments are adooorable. Someone should really make a compilation of cute Christa/Markris reaction moments.

I love the fact that at the end of the day, Beck is not a good person. She is super flawed and most of the problems in her life are caused by her own decision. A lot of her issues with writing is her fault. However, she does not deserve the things that Joe does to her. I can dislike Beck as both a person and a character, but also admit that she does not deserve the awful things Joe does.
