I love this show so freaking much!

Thanks for the shout-out. That was so nice. I've really enjoyed watching you guys react to the show as it's my favorite series of all time. And they definitely nail the ending. I understand why Silver wants to put Madi's life first but it's not what she wants. She and Flint see the bigger picture because they're literally fighting just to live in this world. They know what has been done and will continue to be done to others like them by "civilization". Silver has the benefit of knowing he can be himself (straight white man) in this world and not end up dead or enslaved. Poor Toby Stephens described this episode as him having to film 10 pages of dialogue and then immediately go sword fight 3 guys at once. 😂

One of my favorite episodes, sad that Joji (asian samurai) guy died, was one of my favorite non main character and think he should have a bigger part

Hey guys. Long time fan. Been with you since the very first Game of Thrones reactions. I understand the whole big picture thing you guys are talking about, but to be fair Flint has been using everyone as his chess pieces in his revenge game. I think the guy he shot to protect Silver was part of his plan in order to win him over. Flint didn't respond to the guy that got shot that night he said he would kill Silver. Flint used him as a sacrifice to prove he is trustworthy and loyal and that they need to stick to his plan. Flint continued to keep John out of so many decisions. The war was more important than anyone and he's glad Madi got sold on it too. In my opinion he has been selling the idea of freedom and rebellion for the war effort. The war is where he can focus his rage from losing two people he loved. Your reactions are refreshing though. Me and my friends were rooting for Israel Hands and Silver. Who do you guys think is the best swordsman of the series? I think Blackbeard, Israel Hands, and Samurai Guy have the least wasted movements in this show and go for kill shots every time.

The Air Nation

I think this series finale is my 2nd favorite of any show up there right behind avatar the last airbender. The diplouge and cinematography are insane. I think 2 things Silver said last episode: dont make me decide between a war and a wife. I think he fell fully for maudy and love her more then his aspirations and titles while maudy loves silver but also has the backstory of her people to drive her which silver doesn't have. In regards to flint. I think he actually love silver and sees him as a friend and trusts him. He sees how he acted in beginning of s3 when Barlow died and sees silver acting the same way. He literally said he is putting the cache in the ground until maudy is safe and secure. He didnt hesitate to kill his pal who was trying to kill silver. Showing how he values silver on a new level to anyone else. Love the show Love the reactions Cant wait for next episode

-one of the sweet irony parts of this season and these last few episodes especially, is that billy and silver (but billy especially) spent this entire series judging flint for the fact that he was willing to sacrifice his men to reach his goals and here we are....billy and silver willing to sacrifice the men that they spent so long protecting to reach their goals lol OH HOW THE TURN TABLES. -i love how long john silver has been known for the stories he tells yet we know nothing of his real story. -i looooove madi not allowing rogers to guilt her for eleanor's death. she made sure to let him know who was actually responsible, no guilt passing allowed here. good for her!! that conversation is just so good and i love madi so much as a character. she loves silver but her fight, much like flint's, is bigger than herself. and that's something silver and billy bones and so many of those straight white men men just do not understand and never will. -it took a while but i love seeing you guys coming to understand flint and his motivations more. -bear mccreary shoutout!! i love that man and his magical scores for my favorite shows. -HIGHLY recommend doing a rewatch! i've been doing it repeatedly and there's a flint speech in episode 7 i think? that hits different when you know his story. the fact that toby stephens was allowed to know the s2 "twist" about flint way back in season 1 really helped so much. it's sad that it's rare that not only did the writers know that far ahead of time that that reveal will occur but also that they allowed the actor to know so he could put certain things in his performance that we can look back on and go OHHHH IT WAS ALWAYS THERE. it's just beautiful beautiful writing. i love this show so much, man. i actually started watching it during this quarantine bc i remember so many people telling you guys to watch it so in a way i have you guys to thank! i am so in love with the dialogue in this show i literally just yell at everyone i know about how good it is when i'm trying to get them to watch it i'm like iT'S ABOUT THE DIALOGUE!!!!!! IT'S A WORK OF ART IT!! I WANNA KISS IT!!! and they just look at me like i'm crazy it's fine. one more episode!! i'm so sad to see it end but i've enjoyed the ride so much.

Don't hate on me too much everyone but I was super disappointed with this episode .. the whole cliche horror movie, split up in the woods and get picked off one by one trope, ugh. I feel like Silver is sooo much smarter than the split up move and I was yelling at my tv in frustration when I first watched it. Honestly I was already pissed at him for betraying Flint and then this. And they left the ship with their enemy sitting right next to them?? So out of character imo. Luckily the cinematography, monologues in this episode and then the finale redeem this show, but I was super pissed that they spent so much time in the woods.

When talking about what comes after you finish here, I think it would be really cool to maintain a theme and dedicate this slot in your schedule to one of the top-tier genre entries of the past decade or so that may have been unfairly overlooked (much like this was due to GoT being on at the same time). There are so, so many absolutely amazing high-end productions in the genre area that AREN'T sci-fi, have smaller runs of 3-4 seasons and never got the audience they deserved for whatever reasons. In most recent years there has been Banshee, Strike Back, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Warrior, and so many more. Go back a few years and you've got Spartacus (another example where you have to get through a truly awful pilot and a couple of episodes of set-up, but if you aren't fully onboard by the mid-way point of season 1, there's something very wrong), Justified etc . . . and then if you go back a little further you have Deadwood, Rome, The Wire, etc. So yeah, that's my vote - keep the slot genre, keep it under-appreciated, keep it prestige production values. Please?

Man I’m so happy this show is finally getting recognized for how truly amazing it was. Honestly the writing on this show is probably my favorite of any show. It continually got better as it went. And ended so amazingly. I found myself enjoying it more than game of thrones, unfortunately couldn’t get my friends to watch it while Thrones was airing lol

Thank you guys for giving the show a chance and helping to spread the word about this amazing series.
