Funny how ppl can forget what Chuck's last words to Jimmy were... "I don't wanna hurt your feelings but the truth is you never mattered all that much to me" Maybe that has something to do with what Jimmy is feeling. As for Howard, he FIRED Chuck and took away the only thing that was important to him. And now we somehow feel bad for Howard??

Not trying to disagree with anyone, but I think some of you might’ve forgotten that the last thing Chuck ever said to Jimmy was “You don’t matter to me”. If I were jimmy, I wouldn’t give a shit about the death either.

I always felt like those final words from Chuck to Jimmy were the ones that set him on this course... And I'm not defending Jimmy's actions, but after hearing those words from my brother I probably wouldn't give a shit about him at all and this is what we're seeing now, he's turning the page, and he's not willing to bear the burden of the death of a brother that didn't care for him at all.

Everyone grieves in different ways. To face Chuck's death is to face his role in it, and he doesn't want to do that. If you don't think he's replaying every conversation he's had with Chuck in the past year, then you must think he's a sociopath. Whistling is a good way to shut out the voices. He isn't a good dude, but I hate when people take things at face value. "Your cross to bear" doesn't mean, "your cross to bear." It means, "I am unwilling to accept that this is my fault, so I'm going to leave this room as soon as possible."

You guys are way to easy on Howard. That dude is one of the most selfish characters in the entire series. He never cares about how other people feel and hurts them just so that he can come by later and act like a white knight. I mean even the statement "it was all my fault" was just a bait for Kim and Jimmy to tell him that hes wrong and that it wasnt his fault at all. He FIRED Chuck and took everything away from him and now he shouldnt feel bad?!

Completely disagree, I don't think Howard does anything unreasonable in the show. He suggested Chuck retires and then Chuck sues the firm.. Everything bad happening to Chuck was his own fault.

Yeah. I mean you saw the way he reacted when he saw the house burned down. When he saw the coroner drive away... Jimmy was concerned. He was sad. He never wanted his brother do die. That said, it's a lot easier for him to stay mad at Chuck and let Howard take all the blame. Even in the most recent season. When he snaps at Howard, one of the things he says (spoilers) is "you killed my brother". It's clear that thinking about Chuck is too painful. And yet it feels like his hold over Jimmy never goes away.
