This is my favorite show I am currently watching right now.  The layers that peel off in the next three episodes truly solidifies the show to be top tier anime.  Truly surprised the King wants to run with the talk no jutsu instead of fighting Netero San. Truly surprised Netero wants to fight but here we go!!

More please?

AnEnthusiasticKoala

Was Nahid the one who wrote the description saying this is his favorite show right now?

DarkJoker

Netero is a beast.

Next three episodes? Pssshh! Them layers just keep peeling right off to the end .

Dinero

If yall think these next 3 eps are supa hot fire, then my oh my yall aren't ready for what comes after that

Chronicler

I'm so anxious to the next episodes, this is crazy Great reaction guys

Just wanted to point out that netero was ordered to exterminate them, it’s not about what he wants. You even see him struggle emotionally during this episode to attack, saying that he must do it before his heart wavers. So can’t really blame netero for being an “idiot” he’s doing his job to exterminate a threat that’s already killed countless humans.

Alejandro Gil

One of my favorite episodes of Hunter x Hunter. The role reversal here between protagonist and antagonist is my favorite thing about this encounter. The “good guy” provoking the “bad guy”. The antagonist refusing to fight even after being attacked multiple times. Netero giving himself a handicap (much like the finals of HxH exam). Meruem has to make him surrender without killing him to learn his name. And Meruem sitting the same way Gon is sitting with Pitou just mirrored. I freaking love this episode

Gabriel Moreira

Thats the fight that changed how i saw Netero, and how mutch the humans are bad no matter how mutch you live and know... in the end even the most "gratitude" person in the show cant accept things not going the way he want...

Anonymous

Does Nahid realize that not only extermination but humans are still going to be livestock for the ants. At some point the human race will die out unless there are breeding farms. And just think about that

MihoKiryu

good reaction, little naive but good .... like what is point to talk with King who believes he was born to rule world and only he can select few chosen one humans and kill others ? there is time for words and time for fight ... my opinion

Alejandro Gil

It’s also worth noting that we don’t know if Netero sits down with Meruem if he could have kept pushing him into another direction. We see how quickly meruem is changing and how willing he is to question his preconceived notions. Togashi wasn’t going to magically turn him good and suck the conflict out of the story. Meruem’s changes are gradual steps but he still the king of the chimera ants

Zee

Honestly, I really like how these Frankenstein reactions look

Insecure Classroom

Key word is “the weak who deserve to live”. Doesn’t say anything about being innocent or being good. Further proved by Meruem’s example of such deserving so far in the story being Komugi - an unparalleled Gungi master and Netero - Chairman of the Hunter association, both potentially being more talented individuals than Gon and Killua (that’s is 1 in 100 million). So you can guess how many does deserve to live according to Meruem if their world is as big as ours. But saying that, it’s mostly about who gets to decide, Meruem might be the best choice since he will be unbiased but also his concept of worthy may differ vastly from what humans consider deserving to live. (Cue the image of the kids starving on the street and the dictator - as parallels)

These new reactions are actually great. Can't wait for more!

Scar

Lol you could tell by this episode who are conservatives and who are Liberals. Nahid is def conservative. Nothing wrong with it, I just think its funny lol

First time watching your reactions in this format and it's great! Keep it up

Blackeye

Netero is the most badass character in this show 🔥🐐

LUCY C.

I really like this discussion except that The King actually did want to know his name . After Komugi asks him he was SHOOK. And thus he asked the royal guards what it was and they didn’t know so they said King . But that wasn’t enough for him so when Netero dangled that carrot he took it.

Gabriel Moreira

Yeah but he is open to talk and discuss things, witch means he CAN change his mind. The king is, in this point, the most good human in the show

David Salazar

Who else got a hardon when they read "This is my favorite show I am currently watching right now." Anyways Netero and Meruem are my favorite characters in the show. I can't wait until the fight.

David Salazar

Also, Komugi wanted to know his name. Then he started tripping balls for not knowing his name. So he really wants to know now

Arimpact

"Who else got a hardon when they read " just FYI please don't say that... it well... means you need a gf *laugh cry. But yes, it was an awesome thing to hear them say.

Space Mechanic

You guys made it work! Seeing your setup has me wondering why I was so sceptical in the first place 🤦🏾‍♂️. Great reaction guys

Patrick Wotton

Nahid and Rana's lighting looks really good, Rana looks radiant. Meanwhile Suraj lol

Pools

Netero is very wise. He understands that no matter how humanized the King gets, the Ant part of him will still be there, and that is far too great a danger to the world. The king does not understand this about himself as well as Netero does. There’s no option but to kill him.

Corey Pearson

Maybe I need to lay off of these reactions for a bit. lol Nahid and Suraj just missing key points and saying the King makes sense. Like he ain't say only a few humans will be spared. Well Suraj did mentioned the King needs to die still and Nahid agrees but then says maybe they should talk. If he ain't notice Netero saying the King is in a state of conflict that is spitting out ideas that can't really co-exist lmao I hope they get it together

Garrett Gee

I see your point, I would like to add that however no matter what he thinks the Ant part would do it's really just a twisted veiwpoint on humanity in that we too are in fact animals. Netero thinking he has the right to kill this Ant-King anymore than the Ant-king has the right to kill the human is wrong... either way is wrong and immoral but since he is a human he must be the ones thats right in the end? Just togashi showing how much more evil humans can be than animals or things we perceive as monsters. which is why the rose thing later is so good, Shows how much humans are willing to do to get what they want no matter the consequences at least in my eyes... I overall think they are both wrong and right in the own ways for their own reasons which is what makes the episodes between these two so amazing.

I thought the same, Rana looks extra cute with the blushed look too.

BrooksHOF TV

Y'all really ain't paying attention netero explains why he must fight because anyway it goes it's going to be dangerous and y'all underestimating netero and it's 🤣

MojoJojoGojo

Nahid needs trust in the chairman..

Tau Katungi

Innocent and good people will still line up to oppose their freedoms taken by another entity even knowing Meruems end goal is utopia. We would not be human otherwise

Y'all sleeping on my man netero, big mistake

DY

Mickey made a great point about the King’s sense of identity. I view it this way: the King made observations about the unjust, in his view, power dynamics between the weak and the powerful. When he initially took the palace from the Kim Jong Un look alike, he expressed disapproval towards someone he personally viewed as weak/undeserving of power. It was a valid criticism. And there are many valid criticisms of existing political and socioeconomic structures. But there are presumably more equal/fair countries too and humanity shouldn’t be judged so heavily based on the actions of one or a handful of leaders. Lol the King is like an ideological high school/college student. With the above in mind, it is an entirely different can of worms to plan, build and enforce a just alternative to the current system. Does every individual with decent arguments/critiques against the status quo have the character, intellect, and humility to rule? The King is picking and choosing individuals he personally views as worthy. And it shows that true to his title, he still has an authoritarian way of managing the world. Of course, it *is* also a critique of how humans treat living creatures throughout the ecosystem, so keep in mind that the King’s negative *and* positive traits symbolize the potential of humankind. To Netero’s point, the King is so early into his development, that we don’t know if he will continue to improve or get worse. Another problem with the King is that he is literally, until other Kings are born, at the pinnacle of the food chain. That is where he departs from humans. Humans are, at the very least, accountable to other humans. The King has absolutely zero checks on his power with no physical or mental equals. MAYBE he would have eventually done right by every species on the planet...but if I was in the Hunter Association’s position or one of the world leaders, I would still have the King killed.
