Not sure if anyone else has commented this before - but its broken up into the upper 6 and lower 6. So he's lower 5, meaning 11th out of 12 overall.

The Twelve Demon Moons are divided into two groups, the six Upper Moons (上じょう弦げん Jōgen?), numbered one through six, and the six Lower Moons (下か弦げん Kagen?), also numbered one through six. The number signifies their ranking among the Moons, determined by each member's level of strength, Upper Moon One being the strongest and Lower Moon Six being the weakest.

Hinokami Kagura is english. Translated in Japanese its called "Dance of the Fire God"

Marketa is right, "Hi" means sun and "Kami" means god, so "Hinokami" means sun god. Interesting how basically "Sun breathing" is really effective against demons, huh.

The animation and the emotions put into this episode and leading up to it really secured its spot as one of the BEST anime of 2019 fam. We out here 😭

Also the numbering of the Twelve Kizuki goes from lower to upper ranks, and in those ranks it's 6 to 1, from weakest to strongest. So lower 5 is ranked 11th out of the twelve.

Pretty sure it's written 火の神 (Hinokami), and 火 (Hi) is the kanji for fire, not sun. Sun would be 太陽 ( taiyou).

I have been waiting so long for you guys to react to this episode. The animation, story and music are so well put together that every time i see the episode i have goosebumps. I don't want to spoil anything since I am reading the manga, but everything will be answer at the proper moment. I suggest that you guys keep notes like you always do because you could get lost with all the information. I just know that this anime will get better and better with each arc. Hopefully the situation that we are right now with COVID 19 will come to an end soon so that our favorite people can come back to our TVs and we can keep on enjoying this marvelous anime and many more shows.

This episode is def dope and all but this shit got blown way out of proportion and overrated when it came out. It definitely isn't as good rewatching it ngl.... But demon slayer is a good anime nonetheless

This episode is the reason why Demon Slayer got overhyped and labeled Best Animation of the Decade. I mean.... Mob Psycho Season 2, Hunter x Hunter (ants), Violet Evergarden, Vinland Saga, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure exist.

Can PEALSE someone tell them this: The author confirmed that the demon slayers don't create the actual elements we see (water, lighting, etc) but they are sivible to the people in the show. It's like an illusion. The reason we don't see it from all demon slayers is because u need to reach a high lvl of skill.

Ok, I LOVED this episode, I even cried. Something that I didn't do since Ace' s and *J......'s* death. And I really enjoyed the show while watching it week to week. But let's be real people, while it sat on top for it's constant high quality animation, Attack on Titan S3P2 deserved anime of the year. It might've not delivered constant hype fights (which imo weren't necessary at all given what we got) we got a lot more in every other category. I really like Demon slayer, but even so i can admit that comparing it to Aot as whole is an insult. It's like comparing MHA to One Piece.
