I remember I made a statement on how the water and other elements are actually real, however yall said its metaphorical.... I mean if the author really comfirmed that it isn't real, then either the animators or the author did a bad job on making look metaphorical. I mean cmon😂

Real water confirmed because when he uses the lateral water wheel on the tree he cuts it from far away. Meaning he shot a slice of water because his sword wasn’t in range.

Hot Take: WHO CARES if the elemental effects are real. Does it really make any sort of difference in your enjoyment of the show? If you want to think they are real fine, if you don't fine. Idk why this one element of the show matters so much to them.

Water is fake, it's all just metaphorical. The characters are already performing superhuman feats like taking a punch from a monster that could lift an enormous tree, using a super powerful sword rotation to survive a fall isn't really a strech. Plus if the water is real why hasn't Tanjiro just summoned some to drink or some wordbuildy kinda thing like that? Ya gotta let it go.
